Wouldn't God have inspired this as well? Why would God inspire the English providentially accurate, but then allow misleading chapter headings? (Every chapter of the Song of Songs is interpreted as descriptive of the church. This is wrong. SoS is God's "mate selection manual." Also, Isa 22 "He prophesieth Shebna's deprivation, and Eliakim, prefiguring the kingdom of Christ, his substitution" This is wrong and reflect the incorrect theology of the day.)

Why would the translators use book headings like "The Gospel According to Saint Luke" since the Greek merely says "The Gospel According to Luke". Does not this show that the translators were influenced by their contemporary theology and the Catholic false doctrine of "sainthood"?

The chapter headings and the titles are included by the publisher, not the translator or the original authors. That is why all of them are slightly different. Nelson, Thompson and all of the others put those headings in there. In the Original King James all you see is straight translation. All of the other "tools" where added in at a later date by certain modern publishers (Nelson, Thompson et al) to make the bible easier to use.

God is alive and living. Stop relying on others and their texts. Did you know some versions of the Bible have copy rights and are translated by nonchristians? God can speak to you through the word (Bible), but remember he is alive.
Even if there was a perfect document language is always changing. The document would eventually not be workable due to the fact that the language changed around it. Instead talk to God on a personal level. Tear down your preconcieved thoughts of him/her. Know him for who he really is. Only then will you be able to experience the awesome power of God. Only then will you begin to live.

Translators are always influenced by their background and environment. That is why there will always be controversy when something is translated.

You can not just understand what the bible says. There is no error in the bible but the error is your wrong understanding.
