Jehovah's Witnesses-Christian.
All Christians are required to "abstain from blood."
Only thing is, Not all that claim to b Christians really are.
Jesus said "get away from me, u workers of lawlessness."
We do accept safer methods.
Every person has the right to choose his or her treatments.

Not sure why, but Jehovah's Witness do not permit this. I think that Christian Scientists would have a problem with it as well.

Jehobahs Witness, their leaders interpreted scripture in the old testament concerning drinking the blood of sacrificial animals to mean no infusion of blood products.

Jehova's witnesses. I don't remember why, but I have heard of a family of Jehova's witnesses who turned their back on JW when their son needed a blood transfusion to survive.
The son eventually survived thanks to his parents' common sense.
