Not until the day you die. It's the toughest, sweetest, most rewarding and thankless job you'll ever have! And no one but a fellow mother can possibly understand that. ;)

No .... and you must be a mother of some young children who has just about reached the end of her rope.

Take a deep breathe, let it out, and remember -- in 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, it's going to feel like you blinked and now they are all grown up. It does get better, and you'll forget all about the rough times.

It's not so much a job. A job you can quit! LOL. No, seriously...your job as a mother is never done. That's the good and bad of it. Motherhood has many challenges but they are all rewarding.

I don't know about the job of a mother, but as a dad, I can tell you that the job of a parent is never done, unless you selfishly take it for granted.

Never. Even when they are married with their own family...they still ask Mom and Pop for advice and support.....not necessarily financial, often times its just bouncing ideas off the 'rents

Actually no, but it is wonderful when you see you made your kids happy.
