Last night I gave my dog a flea bath and then applied Sergeants Natures Guardian Natural Flea and Tick Squeeze-On to her shoulder blades area as directed. The Natures Guardian is all natural ingredients. And the flea and tick shampoo was supposed to be mostly natural as well (I think I bought it at whole foods or trader joes). This morning my dog has diarrhea. She has pooped three times and it is mushy and getting all over the back of her and it had a yellowish orange hue leaving a stain on her backside. Other then that she seems to be feeling okay, she is active and playing with toys as normal. Is this something I need to rush her to the vet for this morning? Is there anything I can feed her that might stop the runny poop? Do I need to wash the Natures Guardian squeeze-on off of her right away?
Any help would be great.

I would at least call your vet. Even if the dose was right for your dog's size, it can be too much, plus even though it's natural, these products can be pretty toxic. That said, some dogs also get diarrhea from Frontline, and don't have a problem. I'm just concerned because you gave her the bath plus the topical, and now she's having gastrointestinal symptoms. I wouldn't give her anything to stop the diarrhea, as it's her body's way of getting rid of whatever was in the products you gave that was too much for her. Make sure she has access to plenty of fresh water, because that will help her flush toxins out of her system, and keep her hydrated since she's losing more fluid than usual. A call to the vet will set your mind at rest, and make sure your dog is safe.

DON'T USE ANYTHING FROM A STORE - these flea products are often toxic. They usually cause neurological symptoms, but I wouldn't put anything past them so yes, wash the stuff off your dog and go to a vets.

Only get your flea treatment from the vets in future - yes it's more expensive, but it's cheaper than toxicity treatment. Oh, and it actually works too, which is nice.

Sargents as wel las other OTC flea products are NOT safe. They can cause all kinds of problems even death.
Give your dog a good bath in Dawn dish soap to get as much of the remaining residue off as you can.

It will be much safer for your dog to only use products from your vet.

According how big your dog is with the bath and the drops it may have been to much but if the runs is all he has and is playing etc.he will be all right.
