Avoid fired food, cheese, butter and any kind of fat- especially the type that 'solidifies' when the temperature dips.

I used to eat a lot of fired stuff, coconut based curries, chips with drinks. I recently found out that I have high cholestrol and low HDL, the doc suggested I cut down on oil and fatty suff and increase veggies and most of all- exercise.

Cholestrol is a naturally occuring substance in the foods we eat. It is a fatty substance that builds up in your system over time.If you eat foods that are high in cholesterol then you are at risk. There are two types of cholesterol good and bad. You are best asking your doctor because high cholesterol causes blockages in your arteries. It is not caused by liquor or alcohol.
