Oh thank you all for all your opinions and quoted texts from the bible, i've come to the conclusion that God only exists here because he cares. If not, he would not exist in our hearts and provide us with faith, therefore we truly are all God's children. I know you may prove from the text that it doesn't say that we are, but being sisters and brothers, born of the same general identity, and as humans, we ARE, truly, all God's offspring, be it physically, spiritually or emotionally. Whatever it be, we co-exist equally in the fondness of God's love.

Cobra1234xx,

I was having a discussion with my dad about this very topic, and it does seem true, that this so called Jesus guy just begun to do really nice things and suddenly people have thrown him into the limelight to proclaim his 'supernatural' powers.

Though i am Catholic and worship the Lord, I question my faith and extend wisdom beyond the shackles of a blind religion. Considering what you said is true, it doesn't matter if Adam or Eve or even Jesus weren't direct offspring from God himself, what matters is that they did good things and spread faith, encouraging people to go out and be patient, learned and contemplative, while avoiding sins and murder and whatnot. So yes, i agree with you strongly there that Jesus the prophet may just have been some average Joe, excuse my term, but its a topic i love exploring. Thanks for sharing it ^_~

yup, we all are children of god. but god himself or herself is not given title to anyone be the only child of him or her.i regard god as father, mother, fren, brother, sister, guardian etc with each relationship.god is always loving and caring to all not to single only, all bad things an good things are done by men not god.but he gives good power to do good things. jesus is also one of child of god.he too had got powers but to change the world god himself has to come to this world.and before all god is not only for christians, hindus, muslims or other religions, if god comes then it should be for all and entire human kind.ofcourse the new world will begin with no-error scientific developments, high elevated humane thoughts. and whoever is clean and clear from heart is a deserving character to heal this world.then, the question is, why we discuss if someone is a single child of god or not but why not we start help pple who are in need and pain. it is a character of being god's child "heal the world" regardless of caste, creed, religion or anything. for all human kind!!!!

WE are all spirit children of God, all that lives and have lived and shall lives.

But there is ONLY on Begotten in the flesh, as the Son of God

So what do you think about this Living Christ? see Matt 22:42

The true and REVEALED answer is:
Christ is the Son of God,

(how can you be a Son of yourself?)

And He has been so designated from the beginning to show the personal, intimate, family relationship that exist between Him and the Father. Matt 27:43. Alma 7:10, 3 Nephi 9:15.

The phrase "Son of God" occurs 43 times in the New American Standard Bible and it refers to Jesus. The term is specifically designated as a title in Romans 1:4, "who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord." Notice that it says Jesus was declared the Son of God. This shows that it is a title and does not mean that he was begotten through sexual relations between God and Mary -- which is a blasphemous thing to claim.

1 John:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

God's son can have many connotations:
1. All who are created by God are His sons/children
2. All who emulate His character are His sons
3. The only begotten Son, in this case Jesus Christ. But He was a Son not in the earthly sense as one produced by the father rather as the "express image" of God in the human form, as Someone revealing God to men.

We are CREATED children of God. Jesus was BEGOTTEN Son of God which means exactly like God.

Jesus was the first thing God created. Jesus then took over as the 'master worker' using God's energy or holy spirit to create other angels and the rest of the universe. Therefore, Jesus was the only one created directly from God, so his first born or only begotton son.

jesus is just a miracle and prophet.not a son of god, jesus didn't tell people that he is god's son,and had to be worshipped.all things are god's creation.if really there is a source that mention that jesus declared he is son of god, then this source is wrong.like adam, jesus was created by mean of a miracle, not all human being are created by the process union btw man&woman.indeed mary was a virgin, but it's so big to say that jesus is god's son.neither adam nor jesus are god's sons, though adam was the first to be created,he never declared that he is god's son, surely jesus never done so.but people utter things and some parrot them, til it become spread.

Ill stab at this one, I do not think it was meant literally we are his offspring but his creation in his likeness as i hear. Jesus was his only literal son.

we are like spiritual children to him from a religious view point.

again as I've stated many times i am not religious but i am educated in most of the faiths & beliefs even if i do not practice them I do think others certainly have that right.

Hope that helps.

Jesus is the "ONLY BEGOTTEN SON" . Christians are adopted children. We are adopted into the family of God by the blood of His Son as the sacrifice for our sin. Only through salvation, belief in Jesus and repentance of sin, can we become one of the family of God.

The truth is, God doesn't exist and Jesus was the illegitimate son of Mary, father unknown. He was crucified because some deluded people thought he was the son of one of the many gods of that time.
The sooner everyone gets that through their thick skulls, the better.

We are abopted children of God. Jesus is the blood so to speak of God.

Here...

But in John 1:12-13 we read, "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." He's speaking about being born again, and how that gives us the authority to call ourselves children of God
