I have an appt with the Vet @ 3pm. She was abandoned by previous owners 4 yrs. ago and we do not know her medical history.
She was just at the vet last week for her shots and groom.
Yesterday we noticed all these little bumps all over her body, size of a pea, and she seems depressed, not eating well, and pee's where ever she wants, right in front of us, which is strange for her. We did the diaper thing thinking with her age she may have developed loss of bladder control. Her weight has dropped. Anyone have the same breed and experienced these symptoms? What are we up against? Are Schnauzer's prone to cysts, tumors, fatty tissue's?

Just got back from the Vet.
Liver failure
Pancreas infection
Conjestive heart failure
and the lumps, the vet feels these ARE cancerous.
Now what to do?

Schnauzer's are prone to cysts, however that doesn't seem like what you are describing here. To me, this sounds more like an allergic reaction (maybe to the shampoo or cologne sprayed on by the groomer) or some type of bacterial infection. Because she's a small dog, and not eating, the weight loss would be par for the course. When you take her to the vet, you might want to take a urine sample in, they're pretty easy to collect (it needs to go in the refrigerator if you don't collect it right before you leave for the clinic), so that they can check to see if she has a bladder infection, which could account for the urinating. This doesn't sound like a life threatening problem, although it probably seems like it to you. It sounds like it had an acute onset, and the symptoms just aren't typical of cancer or organ failure. Cysts usually don't appear overnight and she wouldn't have them all over her body so quickly. I'm sure your vet will be able to figure this out and get her fixed up in no time. Good luck!
