Your puppies don't have to be sold to dog fighters to be put in bad homes. You need to educate the people who get the puppies from you on how important it is for them not to be just throwed in the backyard and expected to be good dogs.
I would ask to see their homes, if they don't have a fenced in yard or it just doesn't look like the dog will be in a good situation ,they wouldn't be getting a puppy.
You probably will end up giving the puppies away to anybody who will take one. Reputable breeders have homes for their puppies before their even born. At least find a pit bull rescue to turn them over to before giving them to just anybody. I hope you will read these:

I totally agree with "Freedom"'s answer ! Why in the world would you allow this dog to get pregnant in the first place ? You have been totally irresponsible ! PLEASE GET YOUR DOG SPAYED SO THIS DOESN"T HAPPEN AGAIN ! I honestly don't know where people like you get the bright idea that you are going to breed your dogs and what, sell the puppies and make some money ? I hope this is a wake up call for you ! It takes a truly special, experienced, responsible, and dedicated person to be able to bring a good litter of puppies into this world. I takes years of research, patience, and dedication to the breed, for a good person to produce a few nice puppies. And on top of that, a truly reponsible person who has reared these puppies will commit to taking care of that puppy FOR THE REST OF IT"S LIFE ! Any responsible person who has produced a puppy, will make it known that in any time throughout the puppy's life that the puppy needs to be placed in a new home, the breeder will take the puppy back. The good producer will be financially capable of caring for the puppy FOREVER, therefore, a good breeder will NEVER MAKE A PROFIT off of their dogs ! If anything, they will lose a lot of money making sure their dogs have the best life possible ! I have worked for a very well known dog trainer, have experience in the field, the show ring, and obedience ring, and have many years of experience with dogs, and I have a Doberman that at least 20 people have begged and practically foamed at the mouth wanting a puppy out of him. My reply, I had him neutered IMMEDIATELY as soon as he was old enough. I will NEVER risk him getting a female pregnant and causing a litter of puppies to be brought into this world when there are humane societies and animal shelters overrun with puppies that don't have homes ! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF !

Thsi should have been planned BEFORE they were born!! Good luck.. despite your best efforts, more than one will eventually fall victim to dog fighting. also, probably 50% will not make it to their 1st brthday. Welcome to the world of Backyard Breeders!! Make sure you get a copy of every buyer's driver's license, and put into the contract (You have a contract.. right??) that if at any time, the dogs are mistreted, then you have full rights to take the dog back with no questions asked. Get them ALL microchipped or tattooed for ID, and make sure they are all UTD on their shots! Try advertising in the paper, but be prepared to refuse to even let most of the people who call see your pups. Ask for references, and once you have someone picked, have them choose a puppy, and visit it frequently before it goes home at 10 weeks. Yes. I said 10 weeks. For optimum socialization with momma, they need to stay. Have tons of fun cleaning up after 10 pups. It is not fun. I recommend getting day-old newspapers from every stand you can find every day. There is so much you need to know that only a mentor could tell you.. I will not waste my time. Here's a site that will help you figure out what you should be working with the pups on week by week.

Fine time to act like you care what happens to them. You should not have made your female have a litter in hte first place. Maybe caring about her and thinking about pups would have been something you could have considered before you created 10 puppies with uncertain future.
Tossing an add online is going to bring you every kind of creep there is. BAD people make themselves sound like wonderful loving homes with no intentions of doing dogs wrong. Everyone who contacts you will say they just want a best friend/family pet to lay on the couch. That is how creeps get their hands on dogs.
You need a screening process, you will need to have spay/neuter contracts, health gaurantee's and home checks and references.
I think though once the money is in your hand which was likely the reason you bred her anyway, you won't really care. Outta sight outta mind.
There is no shortage of pit puppies. There are hundreds of ads online today for hundreds of litters. You have joined the ranks of any other back yard breeder with out a clue.
Be sure to keep them for 8 weeks and get ready to start feeding them yourself next week. Your females 'job' is over. It's your turn to make sure the pups are fed, cleaned up after and whatever happens to these puppies is on your head.

I'm sure your local HUmane Society has a few pits or pit mixes. If for some reason they don't, you could try researching local pit bull rescues. They will only have pit bulls or pit bull mixes. Other than that, I'd research good pit breeders in my area.

Even if you don't want them to be used for dog fighting, they were born to lose.
Pit Bulls are in a serious crisis right now. ONE in 600 brought into this world will find a forever home, the rest are euthanized. No matter what you do to screen homes, you have sentenced some dog or another to death by allowing your dog to have pups.
I cannot fathom why any educated person, who honestly respects and loves their animal would allow TEN more of the most abused pet in the US to be brought into the world.
Have you not been to the shelters? They are packed of pit bulls and pit mixes, with 25% of their 'pits' being pure Staffies or APBT.
I can only pray that the mother dog was not merely a pup herself.
Please, do research next time and find qualified homes for any dog BEFORE you bring it into the world.

I am so sorry you didn't spay your dog. As the proud mommy to a rescued former bait dog, many of the posts outlining the eventual future for your puppies are correct.
Contact a pit-bull rescue group for help in rehoming the puppies.
Don't even think about making money. You won't. Reputable breeders never do.
And to all you anti-pitt folks out there - you're very wrong about APBDs - I've had the pleasure of knowing a lot of extremely well-behaved and well-socialized pitts - even reformed "fighters." And remember, today they will ban your dog - tomorrow it will be you. Don't believe me? A quick trip to your local holocaust museum may just offer a different perspective.

Many people have no idea how desperate the situation is for millions of homeless companion animals, especially with regards to Pit Bulls. These dogs have a lot more against them than any other breed. They are regularly maligned by the media, feared and misunderstood by the public, too often owned by abusive or irresponsible individuals, innocent victims of kill policies in shelters, and the target of municipal bans and breed specific restrictions, etc.
Every year over 20 million animals end up homeless. Over 15 million of them are killed (euthanized is the nice term) in dog shelters. Roughly 30% of impounded pets are reclaimed, adopted or rescued. The remaining 70% are destroyed. Many more die from disease, starvation, animal attacks and cars! Anyone who sees these facts must agree that not neutering an animal is contributing to mass cruelty and irresponsibility!
For homeless Pit Bulls the death sentence is almost always automatic!
"The Pit Bull population has now risen to 40% of all the dogs in 12 shelters in Los Angeles. THAT MEANS THAT ALMOST HALF OF THE ENTIRE LOS ANGELES DOG POPULATION IS PITS OR PIT MIXES! Most are strays, tossed out like dirty laundry. It's heartbreaking." (From Villalobos Rescue Center regarding the situation in LA.)
Every homeless Pit Bull that dies in the street and every one who sits hopeless in a shelter is the product of a breeder...either intentionally or accidentally...
Anyone who cares about these dogs should try to save a homeless Pit Bull before they consider adding more dogs to a market completely saturated.
Remember that most dog shelters have a no-adopt policy for Pit Bulls. These dogs are automatically destroyed just for being Pit Bulls, even the puppies! If you can't find homes for all the pups your dog may produce, you WILL be responsible for the death of the remaining puppies. You will also be responsible for all the other Pit bulls who will lose their chance and give their lives to make room for your pups...
The rare shelters that do adopt out Pit Bulls are completely overloaded and must often euthanize them because they are not able to find them good homes. The *lucky* ones spend months and sometimes years rotting behind bars on a cold cement floor.
Before you breed, we urge you to spend some time volunteering at your local shelter so you can witness pet homelessness first hand. See how many wonderful Pit Bulls end up there and leave in a barrel.
Remember, for every pup you produce, another one dies in a shelter.
GET YOUR DOG SPAYED FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!!!!!

Your question will probably be eliminated ...they don't like sales or give away stuff like that....I tried to give my bunny away for free an they pulled the question. I own a pit and they are the sweetest most loyal dogs ever not to mention how smart they are. Just make sure you go to a good neighborhood to advertise. And do interviews with the people that want the pups...even go see their homes...Tell them you will bring the pups to them to see...That way you can check out what kind of environment they will be living in!

I don't know. Pits are in a very dangerous situation right now. You can assume that half the litter will not make it into old age. Please consider spaying this dog. You might be brining puppies into the world simply to die.
Try craigslist to sell them. Don't give them away. You don't want them to be used as bait dogs. And be sure to tell everyone that the parent's are sweet and good natured and docile. You might be able to stave off some dog fighter's interest that way.
