You poor thing! Ice maybe? Failing that, get someone big to knock you out, I know what the pain is like and anything is better!

i had this and my dentist prescribed amoxycillin for me which worked a treat!
you can get similar penicillin products from the pharmacy if you explain what is wrong but i really do suggest amoxycillin because it is the only thing that really touched the pain.
codydramol also worked but that was because it made me very tired and i would just pass out lol not advisable!
go to the dentist asap and they will sort you out pronto!
after taking the first pill, the pain was gone in minutes! it was the first time in weeks i hadnt had any pain! seriously, get this sorted because abcesses can be serious, my uncle had to have his throat cut open on one side because his abcess moved down into his throat and he was actually choking on it!

Get some Oragel, and put on the tooth. It will numb the pain and you should feel better.
I had a absessed tooth when I was younger, and it worked like a charm and I used it for about a week. You just have to apply it every few hours, but it works.

Try several things, rinse well with whisky (don't swallow unless you feel the need and are old enough), Doctor for antibiotics for abscess. Dissolve aspirin in a drop of water and rub gently round the area of tooth and gum. Try tincture of mhur (dont know the spelling) from a chemist. Sorry about your pain, ouch.

There's nothing you can do until you get some antibiotics!
Can you get a script from your doctor for some stronger painkillers?
Once you have the antibiotics you'll be fine.
You can try sitting with a hot water bottle (wrapped in a towel) against your cheek.
I hope you feel better soon.

Never never use ice or whiskey. Best thing is an antibiotic pill if you can get it from the drugstore Next best thing is to get a pain killer which may or may not work. A tablespoon of salt mixed in water (cold not iced) and rinse. In any case good luck.

You need antibiotics. Your dentist will probably prescribe antibiotics to relieve the abcess before working on your mouth.

Try a product from the pharmacy that temporarily numbs the gum. Also take Aleve; it will help a great deal. Gargling with warm salt water may help; not sure. Hurry to the dentist.
