how do i tell my family to stop treatin me like a five year old! im 18 years old and the treat me like im a child. my sister constantly gives me attitude but if even give a hint of attitude my mum gets on at me for it but she lets my sisters away with murder. my sister is seven years older than me with a child of three how do i tell them to treat me like an adult someone help please its really upsetting me thanx xx

Be strong, And show them that you are not a child by not doing child stuff! acting like a young adult!

Yeah, you need to prove to your mum that you ARE an adult - It can be simple things like picking stuff up after yourself or helping her - particularly doing things before she has to ask you.

This will help you gain respect as an adult, and don't rise to the bait of your sisters - prove you are more mature than that!

you don't, it's all part of life's cycle we all go through it. I was the youngest of eight, it was like having nine parents, but the more you rebel the harder it is. let them hear what they want to hear, do some of the things they want you to do, try not to argue. this makes for a happier environment. then perhaps they'll realise you are acting more like an adult, they might even starting treating you like an adult.

i know how you're feeling. the only advice i can give you is to try really hard to show them you are an adult,so listen to what they have to say but also make sure your voice and opinions are heard too. have you tried sitting them down and talking to them about it? maybe if they realise that it upsets you and you've been mature enough to talk to them about it they'll ease off a bit.

you act like an adult you get traeted as an adult for some reason they seem to hev no respect for you...calm down get a job and move out,...you done have to broad cast this to them show them that you are an adult ...then shock their boots off
