Liberals hate Israel, apparently. To answer your question, you are right on the money.
BTW-Israel has every right to exist and they have proven worthy of the land they rightly own. The UN created the State of Israel in what was unused and barren land no one wanted. Through their hard work and initiative they have become a great and productive power. It is no wonder that the surrounding countries are jealous.
Anyone who believes that this land belonged to the Palestinian Muslims first, needs to go back to school. How can that be? Christianity precedes Islam by five hundred years and Judaism preceded Christianity.
Jews occupied all of this area for thousands of years before Islam even existed. DUH!

The difference is that people in Latin America, the primary source of immigrants to the United States, share largely the same values as Americans. There are some differences between Mexican and American values, but they're much smaller than Israeli versus Palestinian values. They are generally not concerned about politics when they arrive, but just about making more money. They don't want to change America, or at least not very much - they want to join America, and, more importantly have their kids join America. Their goals and attitudes are not very different than those of the Southern European immigrants who came to America 100 years ago, and I expect that 40 years from now, everyone will realize this.

Since the vast majority of Legal US Citizens can trace their ancestry back to Europe, Europe is WAY more important than small tiny nation in the Middle East.
And don't give me that Oil B.S or Israel is a Democracy in the Arab Middle East cause they are NOT. Israel is a Theocracy.
