I was just checking my kitten over for any problems, and saw that his gums are rather pale should I be worried or is it normal in kittens?

Kittens' gums are rather pale normally, it depends how much it is. If you press your finger against them they should turn completely white where your finger was, but then after you remove your finger it should turn back to the colour it had before within 2 seconds. Do that test, and when the kitten is a bit older ask the vet to do some blood tests, to check for any diseases and his blood condition. In the meantime, if he eats, drinks, poops, plays and purrs, I guess he is healthy.
