There is a clear diffrience, the truth is there is no absolute god in hinduism,, but why ppl say God and goddess, when they are ppl who have lived before ? Hinduism is more of natural law codes compressed into symbolism, look at the many hands of the so called god or goddesses, its all symbolism,

Beleive in God only takes the god within you and put it outside, and man without God within him is nothing,

God what is God ? Knowledge

Knowledge for what ? for living

thats about it all

its in everyone of us, why take it out and put names for it ? and worse fight because of it ?

Hinduism never preaches anyone anything, its us that looks for it, then why should a hindu call himself a hindu ? arent we human beings ? every one of us ? even the VEDA tells us that

First of all there is no flow in your question and the details you;ve given. But I can understand you are one confused lad out there. Either you are not a hindu by birth or you are an half baked person.

Hinduism is a way of living and not a religion.

God and goddess with more than one hand is not a symbol, but a pictorial representation of the power of the god. God doesnt have a form. He is formless. The pictures and idols are for human understanding of god, thats it and nothing else.

I dont know about vedas, since am not an aryan. I follow a different school of thought. According to it, God lives in me, with me and beside me. He is omnipresent.

We call the people who lived(as you've mentioned in your question) as avatars and not god and godess.

The fight over caste and religion was/is created by a bunch of confused like you and not by true hindus. Hinduism has a lot of school of thoughts and it need not be preached, unless and until some one approaches his guru for preaching. There is no compulsion on anyone to follow a certain path. The worthy guy will follow his worth religion, thats it. The unworthy will not realize the supreme GOD.

Worshipping the symbols and forms of god is atleast the first step towards knowing the supreme GOD. And, Hinduism is a free religion. Anyone can follow any school or follow any god; no restrictions, no rule and no punishments if you do otherwise.

Hinduism, the world’s is oldest religion, has no beginning--it precedes recorded history. It has no human founder. It is a mystical religion, leading the devotee to personally experience the Truth within, finally reaching the pinnacle of consciousness where man and God are one. Hinduism has four main denominations--Saivism, Shaktism, Vaishnavism and Smartism.

The following nine facts, though not exhaustive, offer a simple summary of Hindu spirituality or about Hinudism.

1 Hindus believe in a one, all-pervasive Supreme Being who is both immanent and transcendent, both Creator and Unmanifest Reality.
2 Hindus believe in the divinity of the four Vedas, the world's most ancient scripture, and venerate the Agamas as equally revealed. These primordial hymns are God's word and the bedrock of Sanatana Dharma, the eternal religion.
3 Hindus believe that the universe undergoes endless cycles of creation, preservation and dissolution.
4 Hindus believe in karma, the law of cause and effect by which each individual creates his own destiny by his thoughts, words and deeds.
5 Hindus believe that the soul reincarnates, evolving through many births until all karmas have been resolved, and moksha, liberation from the cycle of rebirth, is attained. Not a single soul will be deprived of this destiny.
6 Hindus believe that divine beings exist in unseen worlds and that temple worship, rituals, sacraments and personal devotionals create a communion with these devas (divine beings) and God.
7 Hindus believe that an enlightened master, or satguru, is essential to know the Transcendent Absolute, as are personal discipline, good conduct, purification, pilgrimage, self-inquiry, meditation and surrender in God.
8 Hindus believe that all life is sacred, to be loved and revered, and therefore practice ahimsa, noninjury, in thought, word and deed.
9 Hindus believe that no religion teaches the only way to salvation above all others, but that all genuine paths are facets of God's Light, deserving tolerance and understanding.

Seems to me you've already made up your mind about the answer. What a waste of 5 points!
All religions are natural codes of law. That's why Muslim and Jewish men are circumcised - because, in a desert region sand under the foreskin is no laughing matter. It's also the reason why they don't eat the flesh of the pig. And why Solomon (long before Mohammed) advised against drinking alcohol.
Followers of Islam have problems understanding the Christian Trinity - if Jews, Christians and Muslims are monotheists, what does the trinity mean.
It may be argued that the 3000 or more Hindu gods are all aspects of the one God, and that in this case, they are counted amongst the monotheists.

Hindu Scriptures have clarified it beautifully.

God is same One and only God is there, whatever we see is nothing but an illusion within God. This ultimate essence of God is termed as "Nirgun Brahm" (God without any form or attributes).

Since is it difficult for almost every human being to perceive it. Rishis (ancient saints) perceived "Sagun Brahm" (God with attributes) for Ignorant worldly people. Since Sagun brahm has come out from the perception of humans, it is different and has many forms. Every God(s) with form which people worship in any religion is "Sagun God".

People fight only over "Sagun God", as they r ignorant and at present they don't have the capacity to experience "Nirgun God"

Hinduism was just a way of life with numerous scriptures as a guidance to rise spiritually. When other religions started cropping this way of life was termed as hinduism.

Knowledge is nothing but sharing experiences at various levels of existance.

God is what God is and its beyond all knowledge.

God - is English my dear boy..

What do the Vedas tell you. Symbolism yes. But every one of the Gods and Goddesses are but from the Supreme Lord Himself. ( Note, Supreme Lord not God )
We are but a tiny atom that emerged from him. In the end, we must go back where we came from.. which is why we need to surrender ourselves to the Supreme Lord. You can call that Nirvana. Enlightenment. Escaping the cycle of life and death, as taught in Buddhism.

Manifestations are many, but many is equal to one. He is the ultimate truth. They, come from Him. We come from Him.

A Hindu calls himself a Hindu, because the modern world needs, a code to segregate and identify a certain group of people with certain qualities and perculiar beliefs.

I am sure in the Vedas, they don't refer to Hindus as Hindus.. but merely people.

Thanks for emphasizing that Hinduism never preaches anything. People need to know that. I like your question.

Different Paths, One Destination. Whichever path you choose ( whichever religion ) you end up reaching Him.

A star for you my friend!

U know what Hinduism really says ---

"If u will search for God everywhere, u will not find Him. But if u will search carefully n spiritually, u will find that He is actually residing in ur heart"

Hinduism never forces ne one to follow particular things. Hinduism considers all spiritual paths as valid paths to God ( not to heaven)

The Vedas r Gift of God to Human beings

There is no such word as GOD in sanskrit. It is only when it is translated for english language purposes that this kind of word comes in.

It is either ISHWAR, PARAMATMA, PARMESHWAR, or BHAGWAN. It is not GOD

And it is not Krishna but Krusna.
Only when christians translated to English that the word KRUSHNA BECAME KRISHNA to sound like christ. But christ is the son of god. Not god.
