Unlike the Muslims and Catholics, most Protestant churches do not have specific times of fasting as part of their religious calendar. It is left up to the inidividual Christian to decide when (or if) he wants to fast.

'Also" as in what? I don't think protestants fast at all. As a matter of fact, I don't think xtians in general have fasting days.
But they make a mean pie...
