i know someone who has breast cancer and has started chemo she still drinks beer and smokes even while she is on chemo. can that kill her faster.

Of course that will, it is best for her to quit both drinking and smoking. Chemotherapy will take its toils on the body.

Your friend is going though a difficult time and it is for you to you must care alot. She needs to do what it is she needs to do and have your support you can disagree with it without taking away your support. Doing what she is doing may or may not worsen things for her opinions may vary one thing will be sure though is that the drink and the smoke is probably all she has to stop her falling they are crutches. Be there for your friend share your worrries and support her xx take care both of you

It is her decision. You could decide not to be her friend. She is not doing well for herself, but she has to live with this.
