Because it catches people's attention and makes people talk, word of mouth is the best form of advertising and therefore the objective of the advert has been achieved.

Its not about anything, is just a laugh, it was really funny when channel four played it in the commercial break soon after the winner was declared on Big Brother, were they trying to tell us something?

i always thought it was meant to be a send up of the animal cruelty adverts, think about it..... at the start you expect the wee voice telling you, "it'll only cost £3 a week to save this gorrilla from a life of torture".. on second thoughts, i should send the money, phil collins??? AArrgh......
