It takes selective skepticism to believe Jesus did not exist. For arguments sake lets say He didn't. That would make the Christian religion quite an incredible phenomena.

If you truly want to know if HE existed and still does, ask Him then give HIM the chance to prove His own existence to you.

John 3:16 When I first heard this verse, I had no clue what it meant, until the same evening during a horrible event that happened in our home. I called out in fear, and asked "OK JESUS, IF THERE REALLY IS A JESUS, THEN DO SOMETHING CAUSE YOU KNOW THIS ISN'T RIGHT".

He did do something, HE held out His hand and said, "TAKE IT AND I WILL NEVER LET YOU GO". So I took His had in faith, and HE has kept His word.

Maybe my words have no meaning to you, but it is my testimony of the truth of His existence and HIS SAVING GRACE.The fact that true Liberty only come from belief of the Son of the living GOD.

Josephus, later, Tacitus.

Skeptical "scholars" very much doubted Jesus existed, and then they found incontrovertible evidence that the Roman governor Pontius Pilate DID exist, when they HAD thought he was an invention of the first century followers of Jesus.

Satan is the ruler of this world, and he does everything in his power to try to obscure the truth. Look at evolution, and the search for E.T.'s, and cynicism, and skepticism, etc., and you will start to see through Satan's abundant lies.

There are non-biblical sources that mention Jesus as early as 37AD but non-believers in Jesus existence usually state that these passages have been added to by Christians at a later date to include evidence of Jesus' existence. I would suggest you read about it and make your own mind up.

--APART FROM the most important source by 40 real historical biographers, of which people do not want to recognize , YES!

--THEY ARE FROM real historians & noteworthy people of the secular world, here are a few and their comments included:

*** gt The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived ***

The historian H. G. Wells said that a man’s greatness can be measured by ‘what he leaves to grow, and whether he started others to think along fresh lines with a vigor that persisted after him.’ Wells, although not claiming to be a Christian, acknowledged: “By this test Jesus stands first"

--Napoleon is reported to have said: “Jesus Christ has influenced and commanded His subjects without His visible bodily presence.”

--A Historical Person

Yet, strangely, some say that Jesus never lived—that he is, in effect, a creation of some first-century men. Answering such skeptics, the respected historian Will Durant argued: “That a few simple men should in one generation have invented so powerful and appealing a personality, so lofty an ethic and so inspiring a vision of human brotherhood, would be a miracle far more incredible than any recorded in the Gospels.”

--The reference work The Historians’ History of the World observed: “The historical result of [Jesus’] activities was more momentous, even from a strictly secular standpoint, than the deeds of ANY OTHER (my caps) character of history. A new era, recognised by the chief civilisations of the world, dates from his birth.”

--Yes, think about it. Even calendars today are based on the year that Jesus was thought to have been born. “Dates before that year are listed as B.C., or before Christ,” explains The World Book Encyclopedia. “Dates after that year are listed as A.D., or anno Domini (in the year of our Lord).”

---NOW WHAT do you think the geniuses who already have shown their predjudiced comments with no forsight will do with these secular authorities quoted

--They will say that these people were :

1. Duped!
2. Ignorant
3. Too religious to mean what they said!
4. Had been pressured by religions
5 Guilty of some vice or whatever and were just making up for their past sins, by acknowledging the truths of the Bible history
6 . It amazes me how their PREDJUDICE will totallyINVALIDATE anything the Bible claims and those who might have the courage to support it as the highest authority in all of history!

--HERE ARE A FEW who dare stand for the truths of the Bible:

HOW OTHERS HAVE FELT ABOUT THE BIBLE

“The Bible is worth all other books which have ever been printed.”—Patrick Henry, American statesman

“I am convinced that the Bible becomes even more beautiful the more one understands it. Let culture and science go on advancing, and the mind progress as it may, it will never go beyond the elevation and moral culture of Christianity, as it glistens and shines forth in the Gospels.”—Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, German writer

“I find more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history whatever.”—Sir Isaac Newton, British scientist

“ . . . probably the most influential collection of books in human history. Whatever one may think of the Bible’s contents, its role in the development of western culture and in the evolution of many eastern cultures makes at least some acquaintance with its literature and history an indispensable mark of the educated man.”—The Encyclopædia Britannica

“It is the best book that ever was or will be in the world, because it teaches you the best lessons by which any human creature who tries to be truthful and faithful can possibly be guided.”—Charles Dickens, English author

When you think about it, does anyone really need to prove anything to another person? Think about it, Jesus never found it necessary to "Prove" anything to people! He simply allowed people to make a choice! He taught only those who wished to fallow him! He did not spend time with people who wanted to challenge his authority.

People who need PROOF that the bible, God and Jesus is real have already made up their minds and it is a waist of time and energy to try to convince them other wise.

No technologies we have now.

It would be an interesting question to find out if he existed at all.

If Christians revered him as an ethical teacher and a man I'd respect them but all they're interested in is the mumbo-jumbo magic and miracles stuff. Its like theists have the intelligence and even mindset of children and... ohhh.... oh yes, that's it. That explains it.

Basically it doesn't matter if he did or not. A region of distorted space around an exotically shaped blackhole could lead to wormhole in to the past, though I don't know how the information would be sent back to our time. Maybe shot off in to space... except it would be in another universe.

Bring a maimed person over to my house and I will prove it. He/she will get a new limb. There is power im the name of Yehoshua hamoshiach (Jesus the messiah). Proven by doctors to be cured and well again. No lying.

Will prophecy in this holy man's name [the very child of the living God] and you will see the future unfold according to that spoken word.

I cannot reach everyone, but I am trying. Lost are those that never hear!!!!

Go to my friend's website on this particular page and you will even see historical proof by the moon itself! Interested? Take a look:

http://heshallgovern.homestead.com/age-of-Jesus.html

Thank you

*NOTE 1: Even though my fellow Jewish brothers don't believe that Yehoshua is our moshiach, they none the less know that he existed, for he is talked about in the Talmud.

NOTE 2: The Qu'ran talks about Jesus existence

NOTE 3: The letters of Polycarp prove of his existence

NOTE 4: I do agree that Josephus was forged by the agenda
driven Catholics. Nonetheless, this does not
negate the fact that Yehoshua was a part of the
historical record elsewhere. The Roman Emperor
Nero, of 54-68, feed Christians to lions.

My foul and wicked Jewish brothers may not want to believe that this is the promised one, because so called, "Christians" have nothing to do with Judaism. In fact, practically everything that so called "Christians" believe have nothing to do with the faith and religion of the messiah.

From Trinitarianism, abolishment of the law, when you die you enter heaven, the serpent wasn't an "animal of the field," and........

Regardless of the massive differences between pagan or mainstream so called, "Christianity" and Judaism, this still does not erase the fact, that Yehoshua is the messiah. Nor does it matter if Jews believe or not, for they have been conditioned even while Yehoshua was on earth.

My brothers and sisters of Judaism cannot even see the prophecy within the story when Abraham was told to sacrifice his only son, LONG BEFORE ever becoming a parent of many nations. They don't see the fact that it was a long [approximately] 180 years before his seed began to "multiply" as the sand of the beaches. So the prophecy is two fold: long before the messiah would ever be king over all the earth and slay all those that do not keep the law of Moses, as Zechariah mentioned , HaShem would in fact slay the messiah for the benefit of others and to bring all "looks" to himself for forgiveness, verse sacrificing a holy and set apart lamb. As it says, "he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities," "HaShem hath laid on him the iniquity of us all," "for the transgression of my people was he stricken," "when Thou [HaShem} shalt make his [the moshiach] soul an offering for sin," from Isaiah, the holy prophet. In absolute truth, they desire NOT to read this section of Isaiah in their "oral" traditional synagogues, because it is the truth along with many upon many of other verses.

Like my ancestors said once before, "they are a people always going astray!!!!"

Repent and open your eyes o sinners before the moshiach comes "suddenly to his temple (Malachi 3:1)," or before he strikes you with more curses as the holy law of HaShem says!!!!!!

Shalom
