My friend has a pain in her wrist. It's sore to move and very painful. she can move it but it hurts.. docotr?

It could be an inflammed tendon. I did a lot of typing and noticed that my wrist started hurting in my thumb area. If you make a straight line up your arm from your thumb, right in the wrist area is a tendon that commonly gets inflammed. I couldn't move mine either. She needs to see a MD. It will not go away on it's own. It only gets worse and more painful.

Carpal tunnel starts here, with the tendon in the sheath it becomes inflamed by the same continued motions all the time. In today's society we start as using the key board of the PC, using the same motions, the type writer, the telex. Working in a factory position using the same hand for the same thing.

Start by seeing your primary physician, he'll probably tell you to start using a wrist brace. You can try and soak your wrist using warn water and massage it, use some Ibuprofen but, I can't tell you to use anything like this over here.
It's best to see your doctor first.
