That wouldn't be fair... if someone killed somebody who didn't believe... because they would be playing God... and if they weren't killed, then maybe sometime later in life they would have accepted Jesus... Killing is wrong.

No human can decide when it is your time to go or not. If a person is an atheist at the time of his/her death (either by his own hand, anothers or nature), he/she will not go to heaven. You have to accept God as your Saviour and repent all your sins and live according to His word.

The point is that the atheist didn't accept Jesus. What if he was run over by a car? It was an accident, but that wouldn't be 'fair'. The thing is, people go to Hell for not believing in God. The atheist had time to repent and put his faith in God, but he didn't. Maybe the atheist would have repented later. God doesn't focus on "would haves" or "could haves". He focuses on what they did and did not. You'll never know, and really nobody will ever know. It never happened so it would be more unfair to suppose.

Yes, killing is wrong. There's a punishment for that, too, you know. You could also say that they are playing God, in the sense that it is never in God's will for someone to murder someone. However, God allows it to happen because of free will. God's perfect plan says that he will make right of everything that is wrong.

Instead of trying to defend the atheist, like he should suddenly get some free pass to Heaven, it would be more practical to instead share our faith with the person and lead him to Christ. So, if the guy gets murdered, he'll be going to Heaven for sure. Sounds like a lot better of a scenario.

Althought I don't believe in Heaven, but if there is such a place, shouldn't it be a place for kind people, and not only poeple whose are faithful to Jesus? What if someone who commit all crimes, will he be sent to Heaven since he is faithful to Jesus?
If this a the case, then Heaven definitely is not a place that I want to go.

Murder is sin, but it is a forgivable sin if the killer repents and chooses to place his faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

Look at Paul, the Apostle who wrote many of the New Testament books. Before He met Jesus on the road to Damascus, his name was Saul. He was the Pharisee of Pharisees of the Roman authorities who methodically killed Christians wherever he went.

I don't believe in God or Heaven or Hell but if your God is all forgiving as you preach him to be then I would say yes an Atheist would go to heaven.

Athiest... doesn't believe in God and doesn't accept Christ as Saviour and doesn't believe in Heaven. So, why would they be sent somewhere they don't believe in, especially when they deny the basic truths needed to gain entrance???? Hmmmmm.........

No one knows when his last day will be. That is why it is so important to get right with God right now today. You may not be here this time tomorrow.

Are you right with God right now?

BTW the murdered atheist would go to hell because He died without God's salvation.
