First of all. What was Saddam? He was a WMD in his own right. And I've heard from friends in Iraq that they found evidence of mobile labs. But the media doesn't tell us that.

If you go the White House website there is a pdf. book that explains what we are doing there. I can't remember what it's called. Something like "victory in Iraq"

You really need to know someone currently in Iraq or who was in Iraq to understand it all. Our media doesn't give the whole story at all. If you go to yahoo's main page and pick an article on Iraq at the bottom of the page it'll give you a link to everything Iraq and there is blog there from Iraqi's and their point of view. Very interesting. If you can't find it let me know I'll get you the link.

My nephew had to write an essay on something he believed in and wrote about the war in Iraq and his teacher gave him and failing grade on the paper, no kidding. Because she is against the war.

Just as Bin Laden has been able to avert our military, I believe there was something going on in Iraq with weapons of mass destruction just as Iran and other countries are doing now. Yes there were some ulterior motives ie oil, that we went in there to protect but having lived thru 911 while I was living in NY I believe there is much, much more that the evil ones had planned for America and that you and I will probably never know what the extent of their plans were. Shortly after 911, maybe 2 years, I heard of a raid that was done at a home and there was untold numbers of computers and other equipment that was being used for what appeared to be terrorist reasons. I say that to say this, we don't hear about a lot of things because it would panic the American people. Often attempted attacks on America are handled quickly and quietly and we never know how close we came to destruction. I was in the military several years ago and although I never was privy to exactly what happened (I never had a "need to know") there were several times when we had an alert that something was threatening us. Never did you see any of this in the media, never, never, never!!! So from that perspective, don't believe what you hear from them now. They only think they know what is going on, but they don't really know.
I doubt that your teacher would be very happy with this perspective on things but it is simply that he/she doesn't know what is really going on in this country and abroad. There has been so much propaganda and lies that it is very hard to sort out the truth from all of this. As for me I like living in a free country, I don't like America being attacked by our enemies. I for one, will not talk bad about our President or the troops, I support them because I don't fully know their task. I am grateful for all they are doing that is keeping me and my family safe.

Hi Haley g,

We were told by our government that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction even though the inspectors that were sent into Iraq never found any.

Later on, Bush changed his story and said that we went there to give the Iraqi's their freedom. They caught, tried, and killed Saddam Hussein which should have been the end of it (exception: Making sure they found a new leader) but then we continued to occupy their nation and soon were unwelcome guests.

The real reasons that we are in Iraq is because our government wants to control the oil in Iraq.

Now it looks like they are setting up permanent bases so they can continue to destroy human life and take down Iran as well. It's basically power plays to gain control of everyone elses resources (i.e. oil)

If there is evidence that those 2 broke any regulations or did something unlawful they could desire to have their day in courtroom. In courtroom they may well be shown harmless or responsible. in the event that they have been shown harmless then each and every of the controversy of incorrect doings may well be over. on the different hand if got here across responsible then they could desire to be punished. In my existence time Richard Nixon grow to be got here across responsible of ordering the smash in of the Democratic places of work and he lost the job of President of united states of america. If Bush has committed a criminal offense he's not any extra advantageous than Nixon and could be prosecuted for any crime committed. each and every of the persons asserting there could desire to be no trial could desire to be attentive to some thing others in basic terms guess. If there is not any evidence of a criminal offense then their names may well be cleared. For any regulation abiding citizen it incredibly is the wonderful and maximum suitable thank you to settle accusations.

We went to war and got Saddam because we believed he was in league with Al Qaeda, but that wasn't the case.

The USA used false information to justify attacking Iraq and denied the real reason: the USA wants complete control of all the Mideast's oil.
