of people praying to God in unison? No matter what time it is? right now even people are praying to God? Only God would create this situation. I know people will say," Well, there are christians and jews praying too." But not even close in numbers and for sure not as one voice. Islam is the TRUTH.

The point is that God is being Praised every moment of every day. And Since God is the Supreme, He should be constantly praised, which is the case of Islam, unlike any other.

do any understand what prayer is? Muslims are constantly praying to God. And prayer, besides faith in God, is the main goal of worship.

christ b- the jews at the time of pharoah had a tough time, but then, no one prayed more than them, and eventually their prayers were answered and then some, because God hears but He chooses when the time is right.

Does anyone knows what Islam means?!
everyone here is just saying things a bout Islam without knowing what is it what it directs people to, and speaks blindly up one what they see.
Islam means peace and the things u c on TVs r all political issues its not reflecting Islam purely. majority of Muslims doesn't like what happens in the world now.

its really nice when u c all those Muslims praying at the same time in one direction wherever they r its just reflecting the truth about Islam and how strict they r about their religion.

I dunno...its seems to me that God would prefer to have several million people huddled up each alone in their own private conversations about life and such, or families sitting down to a meal, or a pastor praying with a prisoner or in a hospital setting than for a cupple billion peeps to gather and chant out the same mantra like prayer over and over and over. One voice to what end? What fruit of the Spirit is it producing and for what purpose are Muslims praying. To worship and praise God...yeah, I bet His is all down for large gatherings of people...and even for world change...but He is also a God that made each person whole and complete with a mind and voice to speak to Him individually. Like Moses, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob...as a matter of fact..I have never seen it written in the Holy Scriptures as commandment where this practise is called for. Love in Christ, ~J~

How does having a specifc doctrine on praying 5 times a day while facing a particular direction, make it "the truth"? There are millions of people who tune in to the same TV programs every night, so what?

Give me a break. Just because 10 million fools believe a lie doesn't make it any more true. If everyone in the world believed the earth was flat that wouldn't change the fact that it is a sphere. Just because most of the people on earth are superstitious doesn't change the fact that there are no such things as ghosts, goblins, magic, unicorns, dragons or gods.

millions of muslims regularly pray to God,that means God must listen, but look at the world around us.if their hearts were pure, wouldnt God by now heard their prayers and did good unto them.why is it then that out of all countriues,it is the muslim countries that live in hell.war and killing and bombs and broken houses.not the rest of creation.the hindus are poor ,but happy.the christians live far better lives than muslims and jews in the world.

It's wonderful that people pray, whatever their religion. But numbers aren't the only thing that's important. If just one sincere and humble voice is raised in prayer, that voice will reach God's heart.

Umm... a hell of a lot of people used to pray to Zeus, Odin, Moloch, Baal - I could go on and on. Lots of Hindus and Buddhists pray even now in this day and age. Your logic really is pathetically bad. Imagine everyone deciding that dragons were real - would that make it true?

I really hate that saying 'millions of people can't be wrong!'

Well actually millions of people can be wrong, especially when there is a common human practice of accepting the most absurd claims without investigation.

Islam is not the truth - its a load of rubbish. Its not even a good myth. Its a savage, barbaric religion. Don't feel bad, the other religions aren't any more 'right'.

So if millions of people decide to pick their noses at the same time around the world then that MUST be the work of GOD! Because nose picking is the TRUTH! I'm not trying to disrespect but it's just scary how crazy religion gets sometimes..I'm hoping all religions will "fade away" in time..and the new "God" will be common sense.

Why? Would your "god" not be happier if you used this time productively through helping people who suffer, trying to make what you believe is his world a better place rather than praying?

ya and if u go to Mekaa ur jaw will drop :)

its amazing to see so many people praising the almighty, and people kill each other over pity differences not religion ( to one post above me )

any way have a nice Ramadan and remember that Islam is a religion of tolerance and temperance don't listen to all those zealots and fanatics all they want is power and they get it through the use of religion as a facade, true religion is shown through good actions and respect to fellow men and respect for their freedom of choice.
