shes really sweet and innocent, she is so gorgeous and looks so sweet and friendly. Yet all I feel like is a hateful bastard heading to hell, but yet my feelings for this girl is the only feelings I have left for anyone now...

I don't know if you're evil or hateful but you sound as if you're hurting. It's really hard to acknowledge the dark side of ourselves, and harder to learn to live with that side, but it can be done.

Think about this: you love and admire this girl because of her good qualities. The fact that you recognise those qualities and like them probably means that you'd like to find them in yourself. The things you love in her are the things you dream of finding in yourself.

Looking for them and practicing them is a huge challenge - it's a lot harder to be positive than negative - but you could do it, because it takes a lot of strength to survive hating yourself.

So you are strong, honest and insightful. Maybe you could consider getting some help to bring out those terrific qualities and controlling the negative ones. You're Internet-aware, so if you don't want to go to a professional counsellor you could look for some online help.

I wish you all the luck and happiness you deserve. Be strong and remember that you don't have to choose hell. You can use all that strength and honesty and awareness to make yourself, and maybe this terrific girl, and lots of other people, happy.

What you feel...it ain't love...Love is when no matter what you can't imagine living your life without this person and their happiness matters to you as much as your own. As well, you would never intentionally hurt them. Its as if you could see this person disfigured, dejected and at their lowest point of life and still be there for them, want to be there and be so freakin' glad they aren't gone from you that you would be willin' to deal with alot...and this would go for spouse, child, parent, really good friend. I believe what you suffer from is merely physical attraction..an entitlement probably to this person cuz you consider your feelings to be tantamount but in truth...its self seeking. If you can't love anyone else...then this person will eventually fail you as well...You will set her up to. You choose to be the "hateful bastard"...for what purpose..I can't say...seems defeating but you go ahead. Love in Christ, ~J~
