Tshere are new braces that are clear and you cant even notice them,..but Im sure they're much more costly. Alot of dentist now do offer dental insurance thru their office,.its reasonable and usually the interest is pretty low. You're only 18, thats not too old for braces,..you are never too old to self improve!!Check around for a dentist who is willing to work out a payment plan with you. If you want this bad enough you will find a way to work it out,..nothing is impossible, theres an answer for everything. If your teeth are really an issue for you, you'll find a way. Good luck

get braces on the inside of ur teeth then no body will see them and if they really cant afford tell them ull pay them back when u have abit more money. By the way the inside braces make u talk abit funny.
Good luck
if u have braces on for 12 months that isnt that long compaired to the 70 years you will have with perfectly straight teeth.

first off, my teeth are worse than that picture. they've moved a bit since i've gotten my braces back in june. i also go to college and i'm 21 years old.
to me, i don't think it matters what age you get braces. heck! i have a auntie that got braces when she was 40 years old. i see a lot of young adults who have braces. you just have to think --- PERFECT STRAIGHT TEETH. i know that when i get them off, i'll be super duper happy because i finally have straight teeth.
if you want the braces, go for it. you know that you're going to have to take care of your teeth better if you do get them. if a guy blows you off because of your teeth, screw them. there are a lot of boys out there who will go out with someone and care less about their teeth.
as for the financial part, if you really are going to get them, you can talk to your dentist about it and he/she could refer you to a orthodontist and then you'll probably work out a payment plan or something with the ortho.

There is nothing bad about your situation. But think of this:
- If your willing to fix the problem, go for braces.
- If your not willing to fix them, don't go for braces.
Now, if you can't get that guy because of your teeth disposition, or because of your braces, he is not the right guy for you.

Get the kind of braces that you cant exactly see. Those silver ones are out of date I think.

I am going to tell you from my heart. If guy uses your teeth as an excuse to beg off from getting to know you then he wasn't someone whom you should spend time with anyway.

I really think you're overreacting...your teeth and gums look healthy and well taken care of. Stop obsessing...and yeah, I would date a girl with teeth like yours.
