Have a throatie or a strepsil and some paracetamol along with a glass of water and go to bed. Take your temperature before you have the paracetamol. If you still feel like this in a few days, visit your doctor as you may have a throat infection and require anti-biotics.

If you are really concerned, see a doctor. Sounds to me like a common cold. Im no doctor but possibly Strep Throat. Wait it out for a few days, take maybe some benadryl for allergies or advil for headaches. Otherwise take it easy and wait it out. If it doesnt feel better within 4-5 days, go see a real doctor. Feel Better!!!

You probably have a viral infection. If I were you, I would take a hot drink and a good book and curl up in bed. Sleep if you can, if not just rest. You may just have to ride this one out. If you don't feel any better or if you start to feel worse I would take a trip to the doctors for a check up, you may need antibiotics.
Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

Melisa,
When I'm not sure, I ask the pharmacists at Walgreen's. They can help with figuring out if you have a cold or the flu. They will give you an idea of what to take (Tylenol, cold medicine, flu meds, etc.) For me, I mostly take Tylenol generics and do just fine.
Drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest.
