Yes I know and practise it in my everyday life because I am a muslim since birth.Islam is based on 6 pillars of belief of Rukun Iman e.g (1)belief in Allah the only one God and no ally at all (2)belief in Allah's holy books e.g Zabur,Torakh,Bible and Qur'an (3)belief in prophets as Allah's messenger since Adam up to the last Muhammad pbuh (4)belief in angels as the assistants of Allah (5) believe in takdir or Allah's final decision and (6)belief in the eternal life after death.Islam is also based on 5 pillars of Rukun Islam e.g. (1)syahadat or vow that thereis only one God that is Allah and Muhammad pbuh as the prophet (2)do shalat ot pray to Allah at least 5 times a day (17 bows) as compulsary before dawn,at noon,at the afternoon,at the beginning of night and at night (3)pay zakat or islamic taxes between 2.5 % up to 10% of our regular income and of our wealth. (4) do compulsory fasting during Ramadhan (29 or 30 days with break) (5)pay haj pilgrimage if we are adequate at least once during our lives
Islam is not only a ritual but also should have impact on our behaviours in daily life.All muslims should practise all instuctions and avoid all prohibitions stated in the holy Qur'an and Hadith as our life guidance..If we obey it well we will be safe and happy in this world and in the life after death.
