yes!!!!!!!

a 22 can pass through 8 layers of dry wall and still make a hole in ply wood and ping off of a steal diversion back stop.

I took a concealed weapons class and the instructor had a silenced .22 that did this.

Yes, absolutely it can penetrate some walls.

The standard 1911 can penetrate 6" into white pine at 25 yards.

Velocity isn't the only thing that affects penetration, the .45 ACP is usually a heavier round than the .357 or .40 S&W.

The heavier round will overcome more resistance to slow it down.

Depends on the type of wall... and the distance that it's fired at.

Will it punch through a concrete wall?? Nope.
Will it go through drywall and into the next room over at point blank range? Absolutely.

Yes it will pass through most walls with concrete or steel being the exceptions. If you shot the same spot enough times or found armor piercing rounds it may even go through those.

It depends on the wall construction and the round and bullet type used, but generally, I would think yes

Do you read the replies to your questions? When you asked the same question about the .38 Special I replied: Any bullet can go through a lot of drywall.

Since you obvious ignored that answer I won't bother to go into pre-fragmented ammo.

It is possible for it to go thru walls, However it is less likely to due to it's lower velocity than 40s&w, 357sig and other comparible high velocity cartridges
