Lap band is very serious surgery for people who are obese. You are not obese, and you may even be slightly underweight. You should talk to a doctor or nutritionist about how you feel, because it sounds like you are at risk for getting an eating disorder.

Edit: So I looked up a "stone" and apparently you are around 170 pounds. While this is overweight, you still don't sound obese.

Starving yourself is not an effective weight loss strategy. You will make your body go into starvation mode, which slows down your metabolism. And it can lead to anorexia if you continue to not eat. Please see a doctor about healthy ways to lose weight.

you are 125 lbs and you want lap band surgery?
Smoking will not make you gain weight unless you substitute the addiction with an addiction to food and if you are saying that you dont feel like eating then I dont think you have that problem.
Have you thought about changing your workout routine a bit to get better results?
Regardless of what you feel you are doing great by quitting smoking and working out 5-6 times a week - I wish I was that motivated!
You need to be sensible about your weight loss. If you do not eat, you may lose weight but the moment you start eating regularly again, your body will hold on to any type of nourishment it can get, resulting in weight gain. For you to get great results, try eating 5 small meals a day.. just little things like chicken and vegies, a salad or some fruit, anything healthy just to keep your metabolism going. Not eating will slow your metabolism down, resulting in slow weight loss and the risk of damaging your metabolism for life.
Anyway I hope you are ok, just remember that the easy way out may not always be the best way out. Good luck.

Sweetheart, that is the very beginning of an eating disorder. Eating disorders aren't properly named, though. They are more like body-image disorders. You're probably a very good looking lady, and you are definitely a healthy weight (with plenty to go with still being healthy). Yet you feel you need to maintain some unrealistic standard in order to be loved. But the only one who is that critical of you, is probably yourself.

You should seriously talk to a therapist, or at least a dietitian (not a nutritionist, as they are unlicensed). Your problem lies not in what you are eating and doing, but how you perceive yourself. You don't have an eating disorder, but if you keep it up and start acting on it, it will be.

Well quiting smoking is a very hard step! If you started going to the gym and eating right I think you should keep going! Try to runn a lot and make sure you are sweating and don't forget to drink water! Also when ever you eat try not to eat something with a lot of fat! Try to eat something small that will make you think that you are not hungry! I think that you look great for been 125!

You're probably a serious foxy sexy hunny.
The fukkin TV teaches that you have to be thin thin thin.
like Kate Moss Thin thin thin.

I bet you look pretty damm hotttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

125 lbs please!

I weigh 250

twice as much as you and I'm only 6 foot 2 inches

I wish I could see a picture, but you're probably really a cop looking for some poor unsuspecting man to lock up............

Maybe not.

If you're really having the problem you say, you need to talk to a psychologist. It sounds like anorexia nervosa.

I'm 95lbs, and I hate eating too. I HATE my body... But the only reason why people gain weight after smoking is because they replace cigarettes with food. If you don't eat more than you used to, you won't gain any weight. You can go to the doctor for a lap band but only they can tell you if you should or shouldn't get one.
