One of my friends (30+ yrs old) is worried about the sexuality of her brother. He has never shown any interest in girls although he is almost 22 now. She fears that he may be a gay and wants to set up an encounter with a hooker for him. Of course, he won't know. The hooker is supposed to "run into him" at a cafe he haunts and is then supposed to go as far as he is willing to. I find the entire idea very sealzy. What do you think?

Yes quite strange. What happens if he is straight, that will be a huge blow to his self esteem when he finds out that it was a hooker and that there was no connection there whatsoever. And that he may try and call her back or something and realise that she really is a hooker.
If she really wants to test his sexuality she should hire a male hooker. If he is straight he will bolt the second the guy starts chatting him up. Not only will this reveal his sexuality but it will also prevent any of the harm or hurt that could happen with plan A. And she doesnt even have to pay the gay prostitute money to go the full way. I mean if he accepts a BJ or anything its pretty clear he is gay so she will save money on that also.
It seems she is hellbent on ruining his self esteem. He is probaby just shy and NOT gay. That is a really mean thing to do to you're brother. I hope he pays her back though lol.

Hmmm... very weird..... kinda extreme. Why does she care so much about her brothers sexuality? Maybe hes just a slow starter or he is very nervous about being with a girl. Or maybe he is interested in girls and has been with girls, he just doesnt tell her about it.... If she really wants to know his sexual preference she could just ask him in a subtle, caring way. Or If he is gay, she should just wait till hes ready to come out and tell everyone. 22 is still quite young... As for hiring him a hooker, well, it is pretty sleazy and decietful.... If he ever found out what she did he would be hurt, embarrased and probably never forgive her, especially if it was his first sexual encounter!! I think she should leave the situation alone and let him do things in his own time, maybe mind her own buisness and be there for him when he needs her!!

thats crazy! tell her not to do that because hookers can have diseases and shyt and she doesnt want to set her brother up for something terrible like that! Also she should just mind her own business if he isnt into women there is nothing she can do ! a hooker will not turn him straight if he is gay...he could possibly sleep with her and still be a gay man. Her brother might just be a nice guy who is waiting for the right one maybe he doesnt want to waste his virginity on just any girl. Heck I waited till I was 20 and im straight as they come!

Its not a good idea until the brother is an internally horny guy like me! Lucky sister hez got! Im seriously jealous of him!
And Yes, I completely agree with Will's point of view. What if he is a straight fella? The poor thing will be felt shamed and embaressed that his sister thought such things about him.

His sister has issues ..I mean who does that is not normal..what concerns her if he is gay or not..her life..for her to judge and get a hooker,,that is not a sister I hope she seeks serious help with a therpist lol..

Wouldn't it be easier to just ask him if he'd like for his sister to hook him up with a friend than pay a hooker?

i think that his sister should jus be glad with his sexuality b/c it's really none of her business and she doesn't need to worry about it plus there is no harm done if he is gay b/c he will always be the same way as he is usually.

not a very good sister if you ask me. First of all, if he is gay, too bad if that bothers her, it is what it is. also, even if he isn't not all guys want to get together with strange women, especially prostitutes. tell her to leave him alone
