My choice is Velveeta. Add a big slice of vine ripened tomato and a big slice of Vidalia onion and grill with butter. You're making me hungry!

I like to use cheddar, with a sprinkle of blue cheese on top. It doesn't take more than a teaspoon of blue cheese for one sandwich. I put this on a good whole wheat bread, or cottage bread if I have it.

Just as important as the cheese you choose for your grilled cheese is the type bread you pair it with. I love a grilled swiss cheese on rye, or cheddar cheese on wheat .... but my husband and I really like grilled pepper jack cheese on thinly sliced homemade peasant bread with ripe tomato slices. Mmm, mmm, good!

Extra sharp Cheddar.

With sliced home grown tomatoes is soooooooo yummy.

I am not a big one on Munster, but maybe I will try that.

Velveeta makes the best. Add thinly sliced onion and jalapeno pepper. Or tomato.
