I am so sorry that you and your son were separated due to adoption. I hope you will someday meet too!

Best of luck to you - it's posts like these that make my heart sink for all of us who were needlessly separated.

I understand how you feel. I gave up a beautiful daughter for adoption 21 yrs ago. In June 2007, (on my bday), I got a call from the state saying my daughter wanted to contact me. Everyone was sent the paper work and permissions given. On the June 20th, my mother called me to say my daughter had called her. And that she would be contacting me later in the afternoon. My daughter called me within an hour. We met for the first time on June 28th. She is a gorgeous young lady, in her 4th year of college. We have become the closest of friends. I have met her adopted family. They raised her very well and adjusted
Don't give up, someday you WILL meet your son. Try going thru the state from which he was adopted out.

I am sorry for you. I know what it's like to be that young and be faced with the knowledge that you are going to have to make that choice. I kept my child, but it sure wasn't easy.

Happy Birthday to your son.

I hope you meet your son, too. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find him.

Wow, that's so sweet! It's nice to see a dad that cares. I hope someday, when it's right for you both, you find each other!

You are a good person for acknowledging him yearly. Some men could care less about kids they've helped conceived.

I bet he has a wonderful family :) Maybe you can leave a msg with the adoption agency to give to him.

It is nice to know you care. My sister has a baby and her and the father live in the same small town and he doesnt give a rats about the baby.

If you werent ready to have the baby and raise him then you done the best thing to give him a chance in life. I hope that one day you get to meet him and that he is everything you hoped he would be.

If you haven't already done so, (and I have no idea how to do so) but why don't you register yourself in case he is searching for you. Make it easier for him to locate you.

By giving him up for adoption you did an amazing thing. You act of love is remarkable. You gave him a chance at a better upbringing and I'm sure he will thank you for it.
