Didn't mean to load the question.

After reading a question and knowing that their answer could bring the asker to such dispair that they might harm themselves why would they answer?

That's a loaded question.

Maybe the askee didn't feel the asker's best interests weren't a part of the equation, or didn't pertain to the question.

I've done that many times. If someone asks a question, I try to answer it honestly and as directly as possible. It is not my job to determine what is in the best interest of the person asking the question. I give information as best I can based on my own experiences or knowledge and the person can do whatever they wish with that information.

I'm not a baby sitter, and I believe that people should always be held accountable for whatever action they take regardless of where they got their information.

nicely you notice, I even have a concern with a number of the flaws you stated in this question. case in point, you look searching for psychological stimulus via looking an exciting view element rather of attempting to locate the reality approximately what you're asking. this is evidently your prerogative yet individually i attempt to supply solutions that i comprehend are suitable rather of only telling human beings what i think of they'd locate exciting. yet another concern which you're saying you're in seek of for is a solution that may now not "biased". What does that advise precisely? Does that advise that if a individual solutions a question interior the faith area and that they quote the Bible then they have a bias because of the fact they suspect that God's word is the perfect repository of actuality? As on your grievance approximately detrimental spelling, i could element out that folk who come to Yahoo solutions to ask questions are via default admitting that they be afflicted by lack of wisdom. in case you have not got the persistence to handle human beings's shortcomings then you incredibly at the instant are not likely to have what it takes to instruct somebody who's lacking in wisdom. with regard to those that %. solutions as perfect solutions because of the fact they prefer to share of their praises for God, whilst i will comprehend that propensity, as a Christian I %. solutions as perfect solutions based upon how nicely a individual has finished in offering precise and particular tips that pertains to the question that has been posed. yet to each and every his or her own, for as that's written... who're you to bypass judgment on the servant of yet another? that's in the previous his own grasp that he stands or falls. And he would be upheld, for the Lord is waiting to make him stand. Romans 14:4

well to give them a different take on something. if everyone answered questions just like a person wants to hear, then that's not really answering a question.

Sometimes people need to hear truth more than they need to be coddled and placated.
