Only God Almighty is worthy to ask. Prophet Jesus also prayed to God Almighty. Therefore only God Almighty is worthy for worship not any kind of creation.
"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed....(From the NIV Bible, Matthew 16:39)"
"So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 26:44)"
"One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. (From the NIV Bible, Luke 6:12)"
I also remind you that Jesus did not know when the Hour would come? "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 24:36)"
"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him. (The Noble Quran, 112:1-4)"

Yes, pray and have faith that all will be given to you. But, if what you are praying for isn't good for you, or not in Gods plan for your life then he will listen, but not act. Usually he will send or bless you in the way he wants for you. Which, in the long run is the right thing for you.

When we are studying and fellowshipping with the God, when we are born again... our will sinks into His will. 1 John 5:14-15 is where I think you are quoting from. You can't MAKE God do something... but prayer positions us to receive what we have prayed for and confessed. As the Word says when we are born again we have the life of God in us ~ Christ in you, the hope of glory. So if God is in us, and we regularly pray and fellowship with the spirit, then He will guide us as to what his will is. Also, His will is that we come to the throne of grace boldly and pray IN the name of Jesus (in His authority), and act in faith by receiving (taking a hold of) it. I hope this helps, if you have further questions...?

The confusion of that verse, and others such as ‘anyone who calls on my name’ comes in that us moderns places no relevance on a name. My full name would translate form the Hebrew and polish as ‘the son of he who is like God’s blessed mustache’ or if I was feeling kind to my self I could say ‘the son of he who is blessed like God’s mustache’, but either way it has little importance to me or you. However, names were very important in the cultures of the time for they simply were not simply a way to distingue one person from another but also meant to represent that person’s character as well. Thus the reason of all the name changing in scripture.
There for it could be implied that this verse may mean ‘anything we ask in the character of Christ’ or having ‘a character like Christ’s’. And as the theology go, the primary characteristic of Christ was obeying the will of his Father, leads us to praying for what is God’s will, instead of our own will. Some take this from a different angle, and teach that if your heart is truly of the character of Christ, then you can only desire the will of God so there for what ever you desire is the will of God. Others dismiss the whole character view and teach that as long as you believe enough and say ‘in Jesus name’ at the end is enough.
And for I cannot speak for everyone who prays ‘God’s will be done’, the way I figure it, is that as smart as I am, I am not all that bright. That is, even if God was not all-loving, God is still smarter then I am. As much as my pride does not like to admit it, I am not even close to perfect in understanding. If you understand what I mean.
Basically it is a whole complicated mess, and you would be better off asking the person praying like this or that why they pray like this or that.

6 IQ factors isn't something in the grand scheme of issues. the subject is the version in philosophy, the non secular human beings being indoctrinated with the instructions of a definite faith and the atheist rejecting that indoctrination. This needless to say creates a barrier, as they have distinctive perspectives of what's genuine. The intelligence piece correlates with the probability to undertaking indoctrination, yet that may not why there is any lack of ability to appreciate if there is such an lack of ability. i'm an agnostic with an IQ in the a hundred and forty's. An IQ 5 factors off of a hundred is (50±12)th percentile, so it is impressive. in the event that they split the version, as in a single team scored 103 and the different ninety seven, it incredibly is fifty seven.5 percentile as against 40 two.5percentile. utilising a calculator for the Stanford-Binet, so there may well be blunders reckoning on the attempt and clearly because of the reality that i've got not got uncooked common scores provided. i presumed i might make sparkling that close to common, a distinction in IQ like that has large in impression on percentile, yet once you're taking Isaac Newton who had an envisioned IQ of 185 and study him to me with an IQ in the a hundred and forty's, i'm quite stupid, yet we occupy an identical percentile. asserting one in each and every of those distinction of 6 factors is significant statistically even though it is not an extremely huge deal usual. exceedingly pondering the modifications in point of intelligence it corresponds to while the two IQs are so on the factor of the recommend.

Your question requires not just a straight answer, but a deep study...however, i'll touch some points in your question.
Why pray to God for His will to be done? Are you not supposed to know His will for you to follow? If you know His will, why pray for it? And if you do not know His will, how can you be saved? (Follow?)
Asking God "in Jesus' name" is a very tricky words. I tell you. If I were to ask "in Jesus' name", then what is Jesus' name so I can pray in that name? If you will tell me - the name is "Jesus", then, I must ask - "in the name Jesus"? Do you see the big conflict? It is because we misunderstood the whole thing, CA mom! Jesus never instructed the believers to pray "in Jesus' name", but instead, to pray "in my name". That's why most prayers are not being answered.
To know His name is to fully understand Jesus. "Who is He"? and ,,,"What is He"? Understanding this two questions plus knowing the "will of God" will lead you to the right prayer. And prayers, coupled with understanding of the "will of God" and "Jesus name" will surely get answers, believe me.
GOD BLESS YOU...

The Bible does not say that you can ask for ANYTHING in Jesus name and it will be done. It is impossible for God to sin so it would be impossible to bless you with something that is against His own will.
I do believe that you should pray for God's will to be done because His will for your life is a good thing not a bad thing.

You pray to God through Jesus. When you ask for things and say thy will be done. it means You will understand when he says no as he know more than we do.
Yes it does say anything you ask of Jesus he will give to you,but that doesn't include earthly things material things and things that are against his teachings. And If you are a Christian living a Christian life.

Well, we should want God's will to be done. But that doesn't mean we don't have our own wants/needs. I try to do a little of both and pray about what I want, but add that above all I want God's will to be done in my life.

According to James we must pray doubting nothing... in other words in faith believing we shall receive without a hint of doubt. Also he says we should not pray to consume it upon my lusts. Sometimes I pray for what I think are NEEDS but are in actuality lusts... for riches or whatnot. OTOH it seems when I finally get the attention off of myself, and pray for another who has a real need, then it happens, sometimes before I say amen.
