"Italian Ice" is something the Italians invented in America. The real and only "Italian ice" you can find in Italy (and in the known world) is in Sicily and it's called "granita". Anything else is a knock off.

No, I've never heard of this brand in Italy (and believe me.... I eat a lot of gelato and I know really a lot of brands of either industrial or homemade Italian ice-cream).

If it's not industrial gelato it must be produced locally and not in Italy. For sure Claudio is an Italian name but it's not so difficult to give an Italian name to yr Company even if you're not Italian. If the man is importing all the ingredients from Italy (but I guess he doesn't) he can name it "Italian ice cream" but frankly speaking I've never tasted in my travels abroad any so called "Italian ice cream" that could be compared to the ones I can eat here in Italy.
I can't believe this could be the first one.....!!

Is this a marketing tactic???? The site clearly states it's made fresh daily....obviously not in Italy. Qui non si puo trovare niente di qualita. Solamente nell'Italia si mangia bene!
