My ex-"boyfriend" is a liar. He said he was getting divorced and he was going to leave the army after this deployment. He lied on both.

He begged me not to give up on him, so I left a well-paid job, took a huge paycut, moved to LA to be close to him. Then he was recalled and deployed to Iraq. I kept faith, sent him 2 packages a week, and called him every single day for 15-30 minutes. But he never bothered to tell me after a good phone sex that he was planning to go back to his marriage and stay in the army until I found out by myself.

Now he asked me to "set him free", blamed me for listing my sacrifice, and said if I loved him I should not destroy his life.

He's an officer. How could army let such jerk lead its troops? I'd like to know the process to report this adultery to his commander. I have not decided if I should "destroy" him after he destroyed me, but never hurt to know before hand.

Much appreciated for advice. I have no idea about the military process. Thanks.

adultery will not be prosecuted under the UCMJ unless it is in conjunction with another charge. the military will do nothing to him. This is strictly an internal matter between you and him. as long as it never impacted his military duties, they will not care nor will they do anything to him.

Cut your losses, chalk it up as a lesson learned, and move on. you will get no satisfaction via the military.

Why on the planet might you wish to try this. I don't believe you would get all of the means all the way down to the CC stage. Proper system might be so that you can write a letter to the Commanding Officer, then allow his workplace examine the right way to make the touch. I'll say that if my female friend e-mailed my organization commander whilst I was once at Great Lakes, my butt might have in no way lived it down. If it's humanitarian, please cross through the Commanding Officer or the Red Cross.

let it go. you played with fire and you got burned. you knew he was married regardless of him "getting" a divorce. I am not sticking up for him, but the military is just like any other job and sometimes there are less than honest people. I am sorry you got hurt but spending more time and energy on trying to get someone in trouble is not going to change the facts. Unless you have solid proof that something sexual was going on you might just find yourself more upset in the long run. My advice, drink him into the empty corner of your mind, get back on your feet, and find someone you care for and is not married.

So you played with a married man and now you want to play victim? You're a piece of work, I must say. You might consider yourself lucky. After all, who's to say that if you ended up with him that he wouldn't cheat on you?

But you won't think that way, I can tell how you wrote the post. Since you can't have him you want to be vengeful and 'show' him, destroy his career out of pure spite. Poor pitiful you.

You committed adultery too, sweets. Who's going to ruin your life, your career?

You'll get no advice from me except to keep your legs closed to married men!

Look im not meaning to be rude but you messed with a married man. That in itself is stupid. How do you know if he had kids, or if his wife wouldve killed herself if he wouldve left her? Even though i find him more scummy for even doing it, you should be more considerate about who you date. How would you like it if someone cheated on you? Would that make you feel better? Face the facts, karma is a ***** and in this case, your at its more loathed end.
