They don't excommunicate priests that have sex with little boys, they forgive them and send them to a new parish so they can get some "fresh meat", then get forgiven again. Aren't you ashamed?

Molesting Priests are not as big of a threat as six nuns who followed what was in their hearts to believe that their leader receives inspiration from the Virgin Mary. Oh, I forgot, she can't receive any messages from the Virgin Mary because the Pope has the phone tied up talking to God, himself, sorry, my bad.

The nuns were thrown out for heresy. The priests sins may
be worst but they did not try to say that child molestation is alright or not a sin.
The difference is that the nuns are saying their position in the Canadian sect is not a sin. Hence excommunication.
You don't get excommunicated for heinous crimes unless you reject the authority of the church.
When you commit heresy you are rejecting the authority of the church.
Doesn't seem fair, but there you are.

According to the article that I found on that it isnt the first time nuns have been excommunicated while pedophile priests are coddled. That standard is wrong but somebody needs to stand up and take the tough road and end the coddling of these so called priests and turn them over to the authorties.

Excommunication means the person is not allowed to receive the Eucharist.
All mortal sin results in excommunication, it just isn't narmally a public thing.

The nuns were women, and women aren't supposed to think for themselves. They're supposed to believe whatever men tell them. The priests were mere fallible mortals, and God forgave them so we should too.....

i guess is okay to have sex with little boys if you're catholic. plus if they did ex them they wouldn't have any priests left.
