Is it just me, or does any one else notice the average cop bashing question, along with all the "is this illegal" and "I got caught, what do I do now" questions all seem to have one thing in common? Every other word is mispelled, and the grammar is terrible. Look at any of the police abuse and taser questions. Seems every person who complains about police abuse has terrible english, and the common sense responses from police and thier supporters all have proper english.
I guess the obvious conclusion is educated people are the ones who look at both sides of the issue, where the uneducated people are the ones that jump to conclusions and accuse the police of wrongdoing without having all the facts.
Kids, if you reading this, stay in school, and get an education. You will be much more likely go get a good job, and you won't have to come here for advice, because you won't get in trouble.

And before I get hammered with comments, yes... I know there are bad cops out there. Good cops don't like them either.

Years ago my husband, then a detective, came home laughing about a suspect who misspelled his own name on a confession. I just repeated your question to him and he laughed. He also said "The intelligent ones are the ones to worry about. They commit white-collar crimes and don't get caught." Now he's remembered one who wrote out a confession on a different crime than the one for which he'd been arrested and verbally confessed to committing. He was charged and convicted of both.
Thanks for the laugh.

What a great statement !!! 5 Kudos to you ; )
I just completed an essay on Criminal Behavior, can it be un-learned.
Matter of fact I have just started an essay for my C.J. Class similar to this subject. About the crime rate in our communities still on the rise; most of it being Juveniles committing them. But, as to the schooling. Children these days do not get the enforced education as we once did.
And, the uneducated will commit more crimes because they do not know how to make an honest living. They turn to crime instead, for the "easy" buck to be made.
Any criminal convicted (no matter of age) should undergo a new education on the society norms and expectations. Obviously they do not know what that is , if they were convicted in the first place ; ).

Great comment to the kids, I instill a great education to my son everyday. if the uneducated weren't doing anything wrong they wouldn't be getting caught.
The thing that gets me is there is a tool for spell checking your comments before they are submitted, they don't even use that.

Yes, there are intelligent criminals out there. You just don't hear about them because they haven't been caught.
The ones you always hear about do retarded things... like leave their wallet at the scene, or fill out an application and rob the place, stuff like that. That makes you think they're all stupid and everyone gets caught. ... Actually, that's what they want you to think so you don't try anything.
And also yes, someone with less education is more likely to commit a crime because they're more likely to be poor/unhappy/not care about their life, etc..

HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD
IF YOU DO GO TO PRISON, HOUSE RULE HR 751-(1991) MANDATES THAT BEFORE YOUR RELEASE YOU WILL HAVE AT LEAST A GED AND A VIABLE TRADE SCHOOL TO FIND A JOB.
I HAVE TAUGHT GED AT THE PRISON FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS AND IT IS TRUE--AN EDUCATION IS THE OPEN DOOR TO NOT BECOMING A RECIDIVIST--THOSE WITH AN EDUCATION AND A VIABLE JOB SKILL UPON RELEASE WERE 35% LESS LIKELY TO RETURN TO PRISON WHILE THOSE RELEASED WITHOUT THE ABOVE WERE 45% LIKELY TO RETURN--THIS STAISTICAL ABSTRACT WAS GARNERED FROM 1990 TO 2000. THE FACT AND STATISTICS ARE CORRECT. GET AN EDUCATION--A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE.

Now that you mention it, you're right.
The police actually target people with bad spelling.
Two years ago I was arrested for failure to simply repeat the alphabet.
After several thousands of dollars in fines, court costs, surcharges and legal fees, I've learned to drive sober. I am now able to list A to Z in the correct order upon request and the Police leave me alone.
I never connected it until now.

Man that's hard to do...
I've noticed the same thing. Even with the spell check option YA provides, I keep seeing Q&A's that are barely readable.
BTW, they get their exercise jumping to conclusions.

Thats a logical conclusion, I noticed the same thing on YA. There are intelligent views on both sides of the spectrum however, you should base your evidence on more than just
Yahoo Answers. Getting a school education is good, but not everything. There are other ways to educate yourself, other than using the standard school system.
