A tamal does not exist in any english speaking country, I mean, I does now but is a plate that its original from Mexico; hence there is not translation whatsoever into English, that is the name and that's it; is like Hallaca, that it's only difference could be that some write it with Y and others with LL. there is not translation for it. so Tamal is Tamal! and Hayaca or Hallaca is Hallaca!. LOL.
PS: Hayaca is somehow the translation for Tamal from Mexican to Venezuela spanish, though to be honest the hayaca is far better than the tamal that is in fact closer to a Bollito.
Cheers!

The translation is mole tamales. A tamale or more correctly, tamal (Spanish tamal, from Classical Nahuatl tamalli)[1] is a Latin American dish consisting of a starchy dough, often corn-based, which is steamed or boiled in a leaf wrapper. The wrapping is discarded before eating. Tamales can be further filled with meats, cheese, vegetables, chilies or any preparation according to taste, and both the filling and the cooking liquid may be seasoned Mole (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈmole]) (Mexican Spanish, from Nahuatl mulli or molli, "sauce" or "concoction") is the generic name for several sauces used in Mexican cuisine, as well as for dishes based on these sauces. Outside of Mexico, it often refers to a specific sauce which is known in Spanish by the more specific name mole poblano.[1] The word is also widely known in the combined form guacamole (avocado concoction).[2] In contemporary Mexico, the term is used for a number of sauces, some quite dissimilar to one another, including black, red, yellow, colorado, green, almendrado, and pipián.[3]
