WWJJ you sure can misinterpret a scripture. If Muslims would stop misinterpreting scripture they might discover the truth. The Bible is not corrupt. The Bible continuously tell us who Christ is, Christ himself tell you he is the Son of God and the Father and Son are one.
In Mathew Christ is saying simply calling him Lord is not saving you.
The Gospel is the Good News and it is about salvation through Christ. The Gospel is the good news because Jesus is God. There would be no Gospel if this was not true.
I findit most interesting that the Qu'ran refers to the Gospel as the good news without the understanding of God as to what the Good News is.
Here is a couple of places where Christ said he is the Son of God.
Mat.16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say aye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
This one is interesting because Christ revealed to Peter that
Peter knew this by revelation of God.
This is the way a man knows God not by a man's logic as Islam teaches.
John.9
:26 Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
27 He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
28 Then they areviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.
29 We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from awhence he is.
30 The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born ablind.
33 If this man were not of aGod, he could do nothing.
34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
When Jesus made the blind man to see he could see that Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus performed miracles that had spiritual meanings.

Nice try. It says, "Not everyone....". It does not say, "Not anyone....". There are many who rely upon the ability to use their voices while having empty hearts. If this is true for some who consider themself to be Christians, how much more true for all who deny him.
Edit:
For WillRogers: There is an english word for country as well as an Arabic, Aramaic, Russian, and Swahili word for country.
The use of the word does not constitute argument that all who use those languages mean the same country when they speak. Furthermore, the timeframe of when scripture for each of the religions was founded should convince you that Islamic use of the word Allah came later than others, unless, of course, you wish to admit that the name was actually one used by a god of the Baals.

For Jesus was NOT the Lord in heaven while on earth. That didn't come about until his "transformation" up on mount when the Lord entered him and they became ONE. NOW having suffered and having risen the Father in heaven and Jesus are one FUSED together in existance in the flesh, but not in the spirit. They are still two separate entities in spirit but Jesus having lived in the flesh "brings" the Lord in heaven into "this" existance through himself.
There is but one Lord of Creation, but in the flesh Jesus was also this Lord on earth for through him the creator lived HERE. When someone NOW says Jesus is Lord, it can not be disputed because in FACT it is TRUE.

It's not the fact that they called him Lord. It's the fact that they acted holy and pious in his name and then came fawning to him for attention, but they never followed his teachings. It was all empty gesturing in an attempt to curry favor, and he saw right through it. In other words, he's callng out the hypocrites. The ones who babble on about how they're so religious and such devoted followers of Jesus yet never live by his example.
I see examples of people like this in here every day.

Get in a Bible study group and I don't think you are quoting the Scripture correctly.
You said:"None of those who cry out, `Lord, Lord,'
Matthew 7:21 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord,
Proverbs 15:10 - Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.
This Scripture relates to Christs concern for us with regards to, protecting us from lying prophets.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

the two! Jesus is God the Son, the 2d area of the Trinity: God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit: 3 separate persons interior a million Godhead. 'Son of God' is a call, denoting equality with God, figuring out Him as God. that's no longer a organic and organic dating. Even the Jewish leaders on the time of Jesus's preaching understood this: This replaced into why the Jews have been searching for all the greater to kill him, through fact no longer basically replaced into he breaking the Sabbath, yet he replaced into even calling God his very own Father, making himself equivalent with God. - John 5:18

thats not true indeed!!! i dont agree with u..In the gospel, we read that Jesus says that he is the mesaiah ang LORD...there is no way that he rebukes those who calls lim by that. Even apostle peter called him LORD when Jesus appeared to peter and asked him to throw the nets on the other side...said "LORD, away from me...my sraight answer is that Jesus didnt rebuke those who called him LORD

while Jesus did rebuke people for calling HIM Good, the book of revelation also declares that we worship the Lamb, because He is worthy.
i have said many times. if you put the devil, satan, and Jesus and God the Father, in a room side by side, most christians could not tell the difference between them.
i think it was abraham, who testified in the pearl of great price that Satan appeared and the Jesus. abraham rebuked satan and chose Jesus correctly.

Jesus is not denouncing his Lordship or Divinity, rather, Jesus is condemming the hipocrites who prophesed faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, but didn't live their lives in accordance to God's law. To believe in Christ, means that our faith has to be proved through the things we do in life, such as help the poor and love everyone. God bless.

A deliberate misquote! It does not say no-one who calls me Lord! It says Not everyone!
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
