Is it because of the size of the pistol? I guess taller guys have larger pistol and better shots.

I'm 5"9 and still not done growing. What's really annoying to me is that a lot of cute guys are shorter than me!! Girls like guys to be taller than them- and it has nothing to do with their pistols.

Girls like guys to be taller than them for the same reason many guys like their girls to be shorter than them. Probably doesn't have anything to do with the "pistol" as you so eloquently put it.

i think that society has a lot to do with it.
society says that guys should be tall, ultra muscular, and athletic, so that is what many girls want a guy to look like.
and the "traditional" role of the man in the family (as my dad says ;-) ) is to be the breadwinner and to protect his family, so i guess that a bigger guy would be a better protector than a smaller guy. many girls feel more protected if they're with a guy who's bigger than them, so short guys aren't really what they're looking for. i personally don't care, because i'm not dating a guy for his height, i'm dating him for him. but there are a lot of girls who just have a preference for tall guys, the same way that guys often have a preference for a girl's height, weight, etc.

i like guys that are taller then me but their "size" isn't the reason. I just think a guy should be taller then his girl. I feel more protected.

i think girls like taller guys not because of what you are saying but for me as one of the girls who like taller guys is that we feel that we are more secure with them. taller guys gives us the security that we are looking for a guy.

its not that,really. mostly because it looks wrong when they're together. i mean guys HAVE to be taller, thats just the way it has to be unless the girl doesnt care
