You have the understanding, knowledge, and belief, that the chair you're going to sit on will hold you, but you don't know for sure till you actually put your weight down and actually sit in the chair. We might know things about God but knowledge isn't enough. It takes our trust and our faith to be saved. An Atheist might know some things about God, but they reject it, they don't accept or believe in God. They know things but they don't trust and believe in these things. A person might know things about God but they can not be saved till they trust, believe in, and have faith in these things. Like the chair. Having knowledge about the chair, thinking the chair may hold you isn't enough. It takes your action and your faith in the ability of the chair to hold you till you really know. A person needs to have faith in God for salvation. One needs to have trust and have faith in what He did. PLEASE read Ephesians 2: 1-13. For by Grace we are saved through FAITH. Faith in what and in whom? In Jesus and what He did for our salvation. Please read these verses. I think you'll see why faith is needed God Bless You...

Here's another way to look at it. Faith means remembering the last experience you had that made you believe in God or proved that living a good life is better than living a life of sin long enough to avoid committing a sin a few days later. In other words, acting on Friday as if Sunday were just the day before.

I have tried to live without faith and I got very depressed thinking this is it?! This is all there is and then it's over?! I had to have faith again because without it life was bleek for me.

Can you see God,,no...thats why Faith is there,you believe even though you can't see,but whats is awesome when you get saved,boy the Lord reveals Himself so much after that..
