my dodge neon 2000 has power windows in the front. Driver's side window doesn't work at all. Passenger side window works normally with passenger window switch. With master power window switch which is on driver's side I can open passenger's window but I can not close it. Could anybody tell me what could be wrong?

1st guess would be a corroded switch assembly on the drivers side.

The switch contacts are dirty. If you can do it yourself, remove the switch and spray inside it where the wires go in. Use a good electronic grade contact cleaner. The first product in this link will work fine. Work the switch back and forth as you spray. If it does not work, you need a new master switch. Don't get the stuff on the plastic parts of the door.

Try bumping the bottom of the door with a rubber mallet while working the buttons with the key on. This is the way we got them to work at the dealer. It works 90% of the time.
