Tell me about it although I have found it helps to find something that calms you walk by a river, meditate read a book which ever it is and when Im stressed I seek solace in this activity. Make sure the activity is positive and don't fall into the trap of replacing negative energy with negative action good luck ............................ And if you've been given medication then obviously it is toward you achieveing and maintaining a state of wellness so please mark out a plan that makes sure your consistent in taking your meds and you balance it with finding your inner chi or inner peace with you chosen activity.

I know what it is that you have and I won't say it. The best thing to do is to stay on your meds. If the ones that you are not taking work well for you then you need to find the right ones. That is the sucky thing about what you are dealing with. Just don't go off your meds even when you are feeling great. That only means that the chemicals are stable and if you stop that will send you down and fast. It is hell. Be cafe and I wish you much luck!

Maybe you are depressed. You should talk to your family doctor. You feel like the problems that you have are your fault. Maybe you should try some counseling. It's hard to really say because I don't know that kind of problems that you ahve that you feel that you brought on yourself. I was raped at the age of 16. I always felt that I brought it on my self. I made a bad decision. But I had to learn that I made a bad choice, but I didn't make the problem. It took me a long time to get over this fact. It is hard.

hon, it's not your fault you have depressive episodes... it's a chemical imbalance, and nothing you did on purpose.

if you are having these issues, it's a good idea to tell your doctor right away. perhaps he or she can adjust your meds, or try to find something which works better for you. just because we take a medication, doesn't always mean it's working.

please remember, always let your doctor know when you feel your medications aren't doing their job... it is normal to have depressive episodes even on medications, but if you are isolating and hiding in your bedroom, maybe it's time for a change.

This question is too tough for me....I am sure you should talk with your Dr. about this. I don't believe I am qualified to answer this for you. I do know that some meds will help out quite a bit and maybe some possilbe therapy as well to dig deeper into what could be the root of it.

my dad is bipolar. It seems like he's in such a good mood and then he gets emotionally drained from it. I'd say that you should notice if you're in an extremely good mood and just resist it. Try to get back down to earth. It won't be easy but just remember how emptied out you'll end up feeling if you don't.

Find the medication that works and stay on it. I am right now on a mood stablilizer and medicine for depression and anxiety. I am new to this, but from what I have heard, its going off the meds that messes you up.

Get help! I mean see not only one doctor but several until you find one who helps you. Your hormones may be off balance and with simple creams like etrogen or progesterone you could find relief (blood tests can determine this). You may have other serious things going on. Good health, no sugar, exercise, prayer! I'm serious, all these things contribute to your mood. Keep searching until you find relief :)

Take the test for bipolar disorder (formerly manic depression), at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 10, and read page 2, as well. EXPERT DIAGNOSIS REQUIRED!!! Start the fish oil supplements tomorrow. A review of your medication, or diagnosis, is indicated.

You need better help, therapy and probably different medication. It sounds like you might have bipolar disorder, and unless you get good treatment, it's going to continue to make you feel like a wreck. As for why you're like that, nobody knows. It's like cancer: it just happens, and nobody really knows why.
