ok my ex's name is ruben my Bf's name is Jeff. well all my friends hate jeff. they said me and ruben made a much cuter couple and they would rather me go back out with ruben.[jeff talks crap on my friends] well ruben has a gf, he broke up with her today! and i was soooo happy cuz i still like him a lot. well i was the first person ruben told that he broke up with his gf! plus this past week ruben has been talking to me a lot more, and he gave me a hug a lunch today.He also started texting me again yesterday after not texting eachother for a couple months. but for the past 2 weeks i have been catching him looking at me. yeah i know i have a bf but my bf is so weird, my friends hate him,hes controlling, he flirts with everygirl and hes a player,he says rude things to me and everything. but ruben hes like the nicest guy ever, he never did any of that. even after we broke up he is stil really nice to me. Should i break up with jeff and try to go back out with ruben, do you think he still likes me?

You've pretty much answered your own question. You prefer Reuben over Jeff, so dump Jeff and start seeing Reuben again - however, take things slowly and build up the relationship again. Sometimes we can think an old relationship was better than what it was when we are in a not so good relationship.

Oh boy - if he broke up with her TODAY he must be ready to be in a committed relationship TOMORROW.
A cuter couple does not a relationship make. I say DUMP EM BOTH and find someone worthy of you.... If Ruben was talking to you while dating her, he will be doing the same to you. Move forward, not back.

Sounds like you can't a good guy period..do what ever you want...either way Rub will be searching for another whilst being with you.
Or you can be controlled...controlled or used..tough choice.
