few days ago i asked this classmate about getting lunch sometime. he agreed. tomorrow i will see him

which question sounds better:

"hey, are you going for lunch now?"
"hey, where are you heading to now?"
"hey, are you busy right now? want to grab lunch?"

if he replied he's busy (we're in college), should i think of that as his excuse to get rid of me?

I would go with as casual as possible. "I am heading to get a bite, wanna come with?"

If he says no and gives you a reason that is viable then don't take that as an immediate dismissal. He may just very well be busy. If he wasn't interested in eating with you then you would probably already know.

Just ask him if he wants to go get some lunch sometime when he isn't busy.
