first off, vortech doesnt have a supercharger kit for the chargers.
GS Motorsports has a kit, but because of thier poor attempt at taking care of fuel requirements, it burns up cylinders 1 & 2.
Arizona Speed & Marine has a kit available as well, it takes care of the fuel requirements correctly via larger fuel injectors and an aftermarket fuel controller, price tag is close to $9000.
otherwise, a set of longtube headers for $1100, a PCM programmer either from Diablo preferably, or SuperChips, Hypertech has a programmer as well, but with a $900+ price tag.
there is also the AFE intake kit, the K&N is really a p.o.s., no offense.
or you can get a Ram Air Hood with the functional intake.
your not going to get a whole lot with adding heads or a cam shaft.

The answer to your question is how fat is your wallet? There are two hemis that were produced by Dodge. A low horse power version and the new version that smacks the dyno at 425 horse power. Your Daytona has the smaller horse power version. Increasing the air flow is just a start. You already have a dual cat back system that was part of the daytona package. If you seriously wish to blow away a Ford Mustang GT with the 4.6 litre engine then by all means buy a Vortech Supercharger. You will increase your horse power to over 400 + friendly user, tire burning, car into a torque monster. Have the computer chip changed to match your current air intake. Use the larger injectors and throttle body from the high horse power version. Custom headers are available that will help your engine breath better and run stronger from the bottom end to the top end. Any qualified speed shop will be able to install the Supercharger. Be careful on how much boost you use on the Street. 6 to 8 pounds of boost is quit sufficent. To high and your piston tops will say bye bye. The name of the game is torque not horsepower. Jegs offers a variety of computer upgrades. I hope that this information will aid you in your answer.

RE:
Help I need more HP in my 2006 Charger Daytona RT?
I added the K&N Cold Air Intake. It has the bigger exhaust being a Daytona RT. Please give me some serious mods that a wanna-be auto tech can perform. I am in no way qualified to call myself anything more than a wannabe, the most extensive work I've done is replace a master cylinder and...

ram air doesnt do anything on a passenger car, its just a gimmick, f1 and top fuel dragsters and funny cars that arent supercharged have specially designed ram air cones that give only 1-2psi above 80-90mph your ram air isnt doing anything till over 100 mph if your lucky you dont need an intercooler because your sucking in air thats at ambient temperature, forced induction cars have a turbo or a supercharger that heat up the ait, then the intercooler cools the air back down for a more dense air charge..... bottom line, ram air is a waste of money and you dont even have ram air because your intake isnt sealed to the hole in the hood so it only sucks through the hood..... and no you wouldnt see any gains from an intercooler or from the hood
