There are some cancers that could be passed then developed through intercourse. Use condoms unless you and the boy are true to each other and no other partners have been in the picture.

No. Boys cannot give girls cancer. You are confused because of cervical cancer. What might happen is that a virus can be passed during sexual intercourse that places a girl at risk for developing cervical cancer. That does not mean that every girl who gets this virus will get cancer . .not does it mean that a girl might not get cervical cancer in other ways. It is just a risk . . like smoking is a risk . . not everyone who smokes gets cancer and not everyone with lung cancer got it from smoking. The same with cervical cancer and the virus. It doesn't necessarily need to be a male that passes the virus to a female either. A girl could pick it up in another way. Incidentally . . boys can get this virus too and are at risk for cancer as well. There are some doctors who feel that both boys and girls should be vaccinated against the virus.

Well it depends on what kind of cancer you're talking about. For example if you're talking about breast or lung cancer the answer is no. Now if you're talking about cervical cancer then the answer is yes. It is now known that cervical cancer is in many cases caused by the hpv virus which is passed to you by boys.

I have tested negative for HPV numerous times, yet I do have cervical cancer. I know many online sources say HPV causes virtually ALL cases of cervical cancer...but they are wrong!

No-one can "catch" cancer from anyone.

People can catch other diseases, including HPV.

In some cases these can trigger cancer (eg, HPV can sometimes trigger cervical cancer)
