Think about it for a second: Cows' milk is designed to bring a 90-pound calf to a 2,000-pound cow in a matter of a couple of years. It is full of fat and calories. Now, to make matters worse, many dairy cows are pumped up with hormones and antibiotics. Those hormones no doubt have a lot to do with your weight gain.
The dairy industry is LYING to you, honey. I'm sure that those studies showing low-fat dairy causes weight loss were funded by the dairy industry. Heck, most advertising is lying. Unless you're using skim, roughly half the calories in milk come from FAT (the 2 percent is by weight, not calories).
And those eat-two-bowls of cereal are nothing more than calorie-reducing, meal-replacing plans. Ditch the milk, eat sensibly--lots of fruits, veggies, grains, and beans, with nuts in moderation--exercise, and you should be fine.
And try putting soy milk, rice milk, or almond milk on your cereal instead.

Calories are calories..if you take in more than you burn you will gain weight.. I like the the eating plan but I don't see the exercise part here? Eating even 1200 calories a day can have you gaining weight if you don't exercise 30 to 40 minutes a day. Your body will adapt to your eating plan and seek a balance of calories in and out so without exercise you might just start gaining.. BTW...Special K cereal does not cause weight loss in any way whatsoever. It’s just calories. There are no weight loss vitamins, minerals, ingredients or magic fairy dust in it that makes it any different than any other calories. Sure, it’s low fat, and that’s always nice. Sure, it’s low in calories too, but so is almost everything else that’s low in fat. It is calories and nothing more. Good luck

Calories are calories as the other poster did state. I doubt your sub 1800 calories a day is causing you to gain weight.

actually, i think the special k is making u gain weight. sounds wierd, dont it? special k is highly processed, has ALOT of sugar, and serving size is only 3/4 cup(as apposed to cheerios with 1 cup and about 30 less calories and way less sugar) it has almost no fiber so u eat WAY more then the serving size. stop eating that and just have the cheerios which have fiber, low sugar, minimally processed, whole grains, and less calories for a larger serving and keeps u satisfied.

I'm Anthony. I lost 75 pounds and shed my high school nickname Pudgy. Our family has a tragic history of cardiac disease and rheumatoid arthritis. I am proud to say that family tradition ends with me. I know I have broken the cycle and will never have to be faced with those illnesses. Thank, you have changed my life.

Include lots of protein in your diet and make sure to have some protein after a gym session (which should include weights and core work) which restores your torn muscles. Protein shakes are good for this. @ https://tr.im/1WyiQ is really goood and efeective.
