AND BELIEVE." Fundies, (and anyone else) please explain why this "museum" would feel the need to advise visitors not to think? Have you ever heard of any other museum issuing such advice to it's visitors when they enter?

It's pretty hilarious. But what is really strange is that the Fundies seem to be organically incapable of realizing that a ludicrous joke like this "museum" makes them look even more like mindless zombies than they did before. They just don't get it. They could use film clips from "Night of the Living Dead", and say that it's news footage of people flocking to the "museum."

It's like watching a Spiderman movie or going to Disneyland. You need to suspend disbelief or the entertainment doesnt work.
The difference is when the show is over some of the visitors to Creation Museum dont make it back to reality.

They also have posters in the Creation museum telling people to reject "knowledge" in favor of "faith". It has a picture of a pile of books with a big "X" through it, and then a picture of the Bible next to it.

Scary.

It just shows that they need to keep you stupid in order to believe in their completely made-up, unsubstantiated nonsense.

Sounds more like a funhouse than a museum.

You pretty much answered your own question. You would have to turn the rational part of your mind off if your going to believe anything in that pitiful 'museum'.

No. You're supposed to think stuff in museums, and learn. And why do they have to be advised to believe?

Reminds me of George Orwell.

I always thought the word "museum" implied scientific integrity and credibility.

Guess not.

I don't know if that is true or not but if it is then that is the most tragically hilarious thing I have heard in a loooong time.

Funny, isn't it. Religion doesn't require thought, only blind dumb faith. Here, check this out, Ecc. 1:18 "For in much wisdom is much grief; and he that increasth knowledge increasth sorrow."
