While I agree with you that there's nothing wrong with being gay, I also agree that military personnel should not be fraternizing, male or female, gay or straight, when they are at work, or on deployment.
I think that they have bigger issues to worry about than homosexuals in the army though, they need to get over it, worry about bringing the boys home, no matter what their penises have been in.

Fair enough. He is wrong in his point that the government should enforce God's law. That is not the place of any government stage. To enforce any religious law on the public through government is anti constitutional and even anti Christian. A persons life style is there own business.
Now having said all that homosexuality is a sin just like swearing, Lying, murder, and stealing. They all have the same consequences. They all lead to hell unless you ask forgiveness in the Name of Jesus' sacrifice for everyone. The thing that makes being gay different form the rest of that list is that it is a lifestyle. The thing about being forgiven is you must also repent. That is to say make an attempt to not repeat the sin. But if your gay you don't have any intention of repenting that would require you to stop having homosexual sex. Though you may still be attracted to the same sex you must resist it like any other sin like stealing or lying.

Being gay is a sin in the eyes of God . Now I uphold the laws of God over the laws of man . Now that doesnt mean I hate Gays in any way . I am a sinner also ..And have good aquaintences of gays . They also know where i stand on the Issue .!959 A gay sargent was Kicked out of the Corp for messing around with the boy scouts Portsmouth Va.He was a good guy and tuff nut and Had served in Korea .But by doing this he brought shame to himself and to the Corp. This is why gays thaytare stand outs or loud professing are not wanted in the military plus in some places who knows what would happen to them

The jesus beginning tale is a delusion in keeping with a mish mash of older thoughts. There are a minimum of five virgin beginning thoughts in Egyptian and Mesopotamian religions of that element, and the hot faith purely took those to entice followers acquainted with that concept. The god and human mixture to produce a demigod toddler is likewise consumer-friendly in Greek and Roman and Egyptian religions, eg Heracles, Persius. Jesus the demigod replaced into invented to resemble before religions with a view to in the present day poach followers (and earnings) from the various comparable religions of the time. All that's consumer-friendly knowlege among biblical pupils, yet on the entire Chrisitans decide for to not understand the background of their faith

For once i agree whole heartidly with a question on here. Now first let me state that i am a christian who personally doesn't care about the sexual preference of another person. It is not my place to judge anyone. If there is to be law it needs to be independent of personal beliefs and based solely on whether or not it is for the benefit of the people. Governments were not made to inflict punishment on peoples beliefs. Only to uphold the governing laws and protect its people. Leave your religion and beliefs at home.

When are non Christians going to figure out that our country was founded on GODS laws, cant you people figure out that morals went down hill when you people took prayer out of schools, removed the ten commandments from public places. wouldnt want people to know that it is wrong to kill, lie steal, or cheat would ya. oh and lets have aids run rampant because some guy wants to be with another one,and yes it is a homosexual disease! Lets not allow Christian kids to pray or talk about GOD in school but we can talk about homosexulaty with kindergartners and grade schoolers and yes I said kindergartners, or hey lets let teenage girls kill their babies without their parents permission, or hand out condoms instead of teaching kids that sex before marriage is wrong, Oh and you can still get a std wearing a condom. So I will keep on enforcing GODS law and so will my children .I think you need to educate yourself before opening your mouth!

to a degree i can understand SOME of what he's trying to say. we all kow what it's like when we're in a relationship that is souring or takes a bitter turn -- can you imagine that happening within the ranks of people who have to depend on each other for life and death situations. women and men are housed seperately (generally) and when they aren't it's not becuase they are in the best of situations.
i have no problem with men - gay or straight in the military adn along as, while serving and on bases and in uniform - it's kept to themselves.
BTW - since most people scream about the seperation of church and state - what's God's Law have to do with our military - besides the fact they have daily prayers and such ; )

As a Christian I am guessing it's bc when you believe something so strongly it's hard to "always bite your tounge"...exspecially when this country was founded on those biblical truths. But I know some Christians do shove it down people's throat which I don't believe in either.
