Do you think people in the Middle East have heard it? India? China?

I'm becoming a missionary, and I want to go to a place where the people have never heard of Christ.

Hi, jesus_the onlyway! This is an excellent question! There are many people groups in various countries, which still have not heard the Gospel. Here are what I consider to be the 3 best resources I know of for information on this:

Operation World (2005 Edition) - a book available here:
http://www.ywam.org/books/operationworld.htm

(Under the banner saying "Asia Harvest" click on "People Group Profiles.")

(This is a huge site! For a list of the unreached people groups, go to the blue banner at the top and click on Unreached, and go to Listings. It is a huge alphabetical list of the people groups still considered unreached. For any of the groups, you can then click on the name of that group and get information about it, including what country those people live in, what organizations are working there, and a lot more.)

Do you think that there are still some people in South America? I would think maybe Africa or even China. It seems like there are missionaries all over the world now. Some people have probably heard the gospel, but still in darkness, because their eyes have not been opened yet. You will make a great missionary because of your love for Him.

Precious -
My sister is a relief Missionary to Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. I have regular contact with a missionary in India and I belong to the Women's Missionary Union at my Church. The Southern Baptist Convention has programs for High School kids to go as Summer Missionaries... College age kids to go as Journeyman Missionaries for a Semester at a time... both a Home Mission Board to support Missionaries in the North American Region and a Foreign Mission Board to support those around the world.

All the Globe has Missionary workers - and you can have access to it just by focusing on Christ's leading in your life.

Take the time to be involved in Church, to grow and mature as a Christian. Talk to you Minister about available Missionary involvement through your church. If you get a job - begin a Savings account for Mission trips. Go online and contact Campus Crusade for Christ about local opportunities.

Prepare to go to Seminary after college in order to solidify your training.

Becoming a Missionary is a calling.
If God does not call you into the Mission Field - you will never feel like you "fit" where you are - and your ministry will be arduous.
Where ever God calls you *IS* your mission field... even when it isn't what you expected it to be.

Right now... your mission field is where you are...

Pray for God to lead and guide you to the next plateau of learning on the path He has chosen FOR you.

Peace.

I believe there are a lot of place that have not heard of the gospel. You may want to consult with you pastor. They may be able to lead you the right direction. They may also have organizations established in which you could be part of this group.

One place I've heard is in the jungle of the Philippines.

Excuse me but show me where there is more than two judgements at the Lamb's Throne? The biggest problem with God isn't with Him....but people attempting to mold Him into something they can stand behind with their human morality.

I'd say in the communist states, but that may be too dangerous. My church goes to the south of Mexico all of the time. So, I'd say Mexico since almost any part claims that it is Christian (When they are Catholics).

Contact Wycliffe Bible Translators in Orlando, Florida. They can tell you which people groups still have no access to the word of God in their language.

Two gospels both go ww, for comparison:
- "this gospel": the beginning of ww sorrows: law
- "that gospel": the end of such ww sorrows: grace

You sound like you wanna spread more of "this gospel".
I think people ww have had just about enough of sorrows.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
